Eq vs deca

ad

Hey guys so something I've been looking into lately is adding either eq or deca to my next cycle. What's your guys experience with the 2. What side effects and results did you get at what doses and everything.

V0411's picture

Hahaha I literally said that today

Yeah

Drol 250's picture

I have ran both and personally I like deca. I can run 300mg deca with 250 to 350 of test an week and have very little sides and nice gains. That’s just me personally. When I ran eq it was a long drawn out cycle and experienced some water gain all and all not my cup of tea mate!

I was running 600mg of test and 500mg of deca a week. Had very little sides except occasional nipple sensitivity, and some water retention. Maybey high BP here and there but I already had high BP, thankfully I've got that handled now and doing better.

For me EQ takes longer than Deca to hit. I get better definition with EQ.
My favorite bulk is Sus and NPP.

For sure, you don't even notice EQ until week 10

V0411's picture

I've thought about npp but don't enjoy pinning 3 times a week, can you do npp twice a week and still get results.

winmag4582001's picture

No. 3x a week minimum.

You saying run anadrol lol?

I mean I make good money, wouldn't take me long to get the funds. And what do you mean by primo test, a certain test or actual primo?

Rosschestzip's picture

Hold up dmae injectable? Like the lip and face filler or the powder for preworkout? And where do you get injectable hmb and have you noticed much from it? I’ve only heard of powder or pills but haven’t researched it much at all

Going to run test e, primo and var, and definitely through a good source. Gotta love having that cool uncle around right;)

EQ used to be my favorite compound, until i fucked around too much and found out the hard way.
Love the way it makes me look, not a fan of the head game

V0411's picture

Did it fuck with your emotions and shit, I'm already bipolar so I gotta watch out for that haha it's why I won't use tren.

DeeMan's picture

Don't use Tren or EQ. This is coming from someone who doesn't run either hormone. Not worth it in my opinion if you physically look good but your emotions are all over the place. Nahh

NWApatches's picture

I always felt like tren was over hyped. When I first ran it I expected to be a grizzly bear wanting to smash everything in sight. Didn't happen. Idk I think people are already bad off on the mental health scale and almost anything would push them further. Tren does crush the system and bad on you but 8-10 weeks of tren acetate, eating and lifting right I've never made change like that from anything else. I developed veins in my forehead. That shit was real deal the shit you think gear will do for you. And felt really good. Confidence, stronger than I've ever been. Looked and felt great every day on it. Idk I just feel like it gets a bad over hyped reputation although I agree it's toxic bad on the body.

Ok, nice to hear your good experience with it. Yea I hear and see so much stuff on it. What bothers me is the possible neurological and kidney side effects I keep hearing about associated with it. I think it may also be overhyped as far as muscle gains but just my opinion

Makwa's picture

Stay away from EQ then

UncleYoked's picture

I ran it at 1g and for the first time in my life, had a panic attack. Had no idea what was happening, I have no anxiety issues normally, didn't even know what anxiety was. It's horrible. Once I understood what it was I could control it a bit by understanding it was illogical but it was hard to function for that week, I stopped immediately

V0411's picture

Ya sounds like I may stick with deca, deca is what my dad and uncle have always recommended too, my dad is like addicted to it lol.

Screw a coach, unnecessary money being paid. I prefer to get off my ass and learn myself what training works best for me. Plus my sister is a personal trainer and nutritionist so I'd much rather go to her lol. But that's why I stay away from tren I don't want to deal with the mental side effects, I'm more concerned about mental side effects than the physical ones.

Eroids is my coach. Lot of guys really know their shit here and all you have to do is ask them free of charge

DeeMan's picture

Good decision to stay away from Tren. I've been in this gear game awhile and I've never touched that hormone. Just not worth it to me, especially nowadays.

Bearded_muscle's picture

Kidney toxicity vs amyloid plaque development and LVH. It’s really a toss up.

Lol jokes aside it is important to recognize the health impacts of these drugs. Why not post up your cycle and progress and what you want to do and ask for feedback?

press1's picture

There was a member on here about a year ago that had posted up his bloods and was concerned about his Kidney eGFR as it was down in the early 60's or thereabouts. All he had been running was Test around 600mg/wk for quite a while. In the end he just decided to go down to proper TRT and sure enough his eGFR shot right back up to normal again around 90. Its surprising to think that testosterone would do that but I guess when we run anything at supralogical doses that the body is not designed to deal with then there are always repercussions.

Bearded_muscle's picture

There’s always going to be a cost, I think in his situation there was probably a genetic component as well.

I say that because on the pro bodybuilding levels we have a pretty good sample size of guys who have run high doses for a long time and we see a LOT of kidney issues. We also see guys who never have problems (I know diuretic use is exacerbating that population but I still think it’s good data). So the differentiating factor there is genetics.

I would say if there are any kidney issues in your genetic line you should be especially careful with anabolics and understand that even if blood pressure is controlled there’s still going to be kidney toxicity if your androgens are elevated regardless of compound used.

All the more reason to run “dry” cycles and not dirty bulk the way guys once did.

Rosschestzip's picture

LVh would be from EQ or the DECA?

Owes a Review × 1
press1's picture

Deca mate Shok I don't like hearing it either lol

Rosschestzip's picture

Well I don’t run deca or NPP anyways, we’ll I haven’t in a long time. Like 10 months ago I tried a little NPP for four weeks and it went fine so I might try it again in the future but idk. And LVH is no joke. Might just continue to stay away from the stuff

You're right about that. Yes all steroids are and can be dangerous but for some folks to say they all present the same amount of danger just isn't true at all. LVH, Amyloid Plaque development is something very serious and some steroids like you mentioned contribute more to these medical issues than other steroids. Do all steroids have their issues? yes but some way more than others, also increased dosages plays a part in issues brought about. @V0411 so yeah to answer your question both hormones you mentioned can be bad.

V0411's picture

Ya I mean I have a decent amount of size if I just got to 12% bf or lower and ran test and var maybey primo I'd be fine. I just really want capped shoulders and a crazy V torso. My waist currently is at 32-33 depending on the day and my back and chest with a lat spread last I checked was 45

In a promo × 1
DeeMan's picture

Not bad for waist. A good starting waist circumference

V0411's picture

I know I can get to 31 easy

Rosschestzip's picture

Ya I’ll never I’ve a really crazy v taper, my waist is too wide. I’m a 30 or 31 and really skinny looking from the side but from the front I don’t really pull in at the waist it’s just kinda straight. But growing the lats obvs helps to at least give the illusion

Owes a Review × 1
DeeMan's picture

I think your waist looks good man, lol you don't seem to have the spillover coming from your gut like some have lol. You should be proud my man. Like I said in your post your v-taper is there.

Rosschestzip's picture

Thanks man, but that’s the illusion with the lats lol. I don’t have fat spillover but just naturally I don’t have a tiny little waist. Like where my lats end it’s just straight down to my thighs, it doesn’t continue to go in.

Owes a Review × 1
DeeMan's picture

I understand. You said illusion right? Lol point is we don't or didn't know that. Now can you imagine if you had a smaller waist? Just saying. I'm opposite of you, my waist is small but my lats are small too lol.

Rosschestzip's picture

Ya but you can grow lats I can’t shrink my waist, because it’s my bone structure on the side, obv if I get like below 10% bodyfat it’ll be a little smaller but those bones on the side are still there lol. Maybe there’s some side ab workouts I can do that’ll pull it in a little bit tighter. Or idk maybe my waist is plenty small but I’m just hard on myself and have body dysmorphia lol who’s knows

Owes a Review × 1
Bearded_muscle's picture

You’d be surprised, spend months cutting aggressively and getting food volume progressively down and your waist will tighten up more than you’d expect. Then practice vacuuming and waist control. You have to work on it but there’s more to do than people think.

Rosschestzip's picture

Well for me it’s wide so from the side it looks small but from straight ahead it’s like square lol. But ya has I get leaner and bigger and progress more and more, I’ll try working on some of those things. I’m a ways away from worrying about that stuff tho, that’s like the finishing touches lol.

Owes a Review × 1
DeeMan's picture

you know your body better than me or anyone but it just seems the potential is there from what I saw, maybe I'm overreacting or some shit.

Also I've never really focused on lats because I felt that bigger lats made me a bit slower when boxing. There's gotta be a balance in my opinion..at least for me there has to be. So it's the good with the bad.

Rosschestzip's picture

No thanks man I appreciate the compliment.
And ya I’ve noticed that the bigger I get the more uncoordinated or less athletic I become, kinda robotic lol. I wouldn’t be surprised if growing bigger lats is part of that issue since they’re kinda in the way of your arms
