Does Tbol / Turinabol raise testosterone

ad

Hi all

Might sound dumb but hey what are forums for if not to ask dumb sounding things Biggrin

Basis for my question is that my grandfather doesn't like the idea of needles but was wanting to get some of his youth back.
So he asked if something oral based would offer a bit of a test boost almost like a trt?

Now I know a "young" person may get a shutdown effect on natural test production from tbol alone but what about an older gentleman who basically has no testosterone of their own?

This post immediately reminded me of 7gothic's "Grandpa Is On Tren" series

For TRT what size needle do you need for subq and what is the dosage and frequency. What is the advantage of SubQ over IM injection for TRT? I read that SubQ releases test slowly compared to IM.

You can use Insulin pins for a TRT dose.
Usually 120-150mg per week is about right for trt.
I notice no difference between subq or IM

Yeah Ive advised all this, just thought I'd get some extra perspective Smile

Thanks all

Young or old it will knock out whatever natty test he may be producing and will also affect lipids and liver values in a negative way.

That's what lost me, lol shutdown has no age discrimination.

There are testosterone gels out there and I know I have seen them listed on sources here. But as stated below taking just t-bol will do him more harm than good.
Good luck

Got to be testosterone, nothing else will suffice.
I doubt any of us took to pinning straight away, it's not normal to push an inch long metal thing into our bodys. But like most things in life, we eventually get used to it.
One shot a week is pretty easy, more so if you were to do the shot for him.

This! Alternatively he could use the topical gels, I used them for years. Great for people who aren’t confident in pinning or are not capable of pinning. Insurance covered as well, it was 10 dollars a month.

My insurance stopped covering topicals and would only cover injectable. I really liked the topical, but wasn't going to pay almost $500/month.

I have heard this issue as well from a friend of mine. I'm inclined to believe this is insurance network provider dependent. I was swapping my andro gel for Watson/Perrigno test Cyp for a while lol fun times while it lasted

No, it will shut down endogenous T production if used as a standalone, doesn't matter if they're starting low due to age since the biological pathway is the same.

However, if used together with exogenous T it can actually increase free T levels by binding SHBG. In other words, Tbol can make testosterone more effective by making it more available for the body to use.

Either way Tbol shouldn't be run long term to "restore youth", it's just going to mess up the liver eventually. If it was so easy to restore youth with an oral then every man over 50 would be on that already. If they want the effects of TRT then it has to be the real deal, no shortcuts with orals or overpriced herbal supplements.

If your grandfather doesn't like needles they can use a 29g 0.5" insulin needle for sub-q injection, can't feel it at all. This is coming from someone who used to be a needle-phobe.

Yeah I know in a normal situation it would but what if we talking an older male that essentially doesn't produce anymore?

I did suggest Insulin pins so that might be the route I push him. I did say oral only isn't ideal.
