Opinions / Experiences for cutting or prep without losing muscle
ad
Hi all,
Open Discussion on the best way to cut fat without losing muscle.
I've heard low carb, high fat, high protein or High carb, high protein, low fat.
So I understand Fat is pretty essential for Natty competitors etc but what if you are supplementing with at least Test and/or more substances? Would this effect what ratio's you would use?
I've seen some scary examples of a cutting diet that would surely lose all the muscle gained from a bulk Natty or Not.
So fire away guys

basskiller89My current understanding of this concern is to make sure you continue to lift while cutting
Hi all,
Thanks for the replies and yes I know this is a mixed opinion subject, with plenty of variables.
I've never personally done a cut whilst on a cycle, so im assuming if you were running Test you would be able to push the carbs lower without losing as much of the muscle that you had gained?
High protein high fat low carb.. fasted cardio.. calorie deficit
Quickest results is keto,or carb cycling. Adding a sarm like ostarine if not on cycle will help keep muscle. But honestly if your not able to lose weight by just cutting calories and adding HIT you will probably gain back anything you lose. Any drastic changes to the body will be met with equally drastic changes in the opposite direction. Cut calories too much and you risk the chance of slowing down your metabolism. As always iodine for proper thyroid function and sodium if cutting carbs.
You have to choose the caloric ratio on yourself, on your experience and on your goals.
There is no standard diet for everyone.
However, the choice of reducing carbohydrates is mandatory. Try to keep your proteins high so you don't lose muscle mass.
Are you cycling? What are your goals? Your BF? What medications are you using?
The subject is very broad but remember that personal experience plays an important role. Carbohydrates to avoid are those with a high glycemic index.
The higher the glycemic index of a meal, the faster the blood will become rich in glucose.
This is a complex subject. If you're natty you will lose muscle as you cut carbs and calories. If you're on the right GEAR you can minimize muscle loss while losing a lot of fat with very few carbs!
