+ 14 Better response to AAS with IGF

ad

I have been doing a lot of research lately on IGF and one interesting tidbit I came across was the potential that IGF has to make you a better responder to AAS. You can run less AAS and get more bang for your buck. This would seem particularly useful for those of us who have been running cycles for a long time and seem or think that we need to up the dose or increase the stack to get desired results, or even worse we hardly seem to grow anymore. Now what I am reading is that IGF , for lack of a better term, resets your sensitivity to AAS. This may be overstating it a bit but you can basically get back to newbie gains with just running a simple cycle again or with lower doses than what you normally would need.

From what I could piece together from all of the scientific jargon leading up to this is due to the effect that IGF has on the myoblasts within your cells. Apparently what happens is that IGF fuses the myoblasts in your existing cells which then donate their nuclei to cell and hence more myonucleii become present in the cell. These myonculeii are the protein synthesis mechanism within a cell so the more of them you have in a cell the greater the ability that cell has to regenerate protein, i.e. grow. Now, AAS are what stimulate the myonucleii and make them hyperactive so the more myonucleii we can have in a cell the better we will respond to AAS. By increasing the mynucleii we are now more responsive to AAS making it easier to build muscle. Hopefully someone with a little more knowledge on this could shed some more light on it but it sure seems like an interesting effect of IGF that no one really seems to talk about. It all seems to be about hyperplasia with IGF but I found this to be of great interest also.

Was it to do with going hypo and passing out ect?

Yep, think it was actually about trying to go low carbs while on exo IGF, thanks for reminding me Kibby.

I probably wouldn't run IGF when cutting. May help a bit given the synergy with HGH but I really see its main purpose as a tissue builder which is more suited to bulking.

Yeah, I'm just wondering at this point, being a newbie and experiencing newbie gains if it's something I should use now while on bulk for a good while, or save it for use later when the "newbie gains" start to slow pace a bit, if that makes sense?

Essentially you would have a higher potential for more gains whether a newb or not. Basically boils down to how comfortable you are adding in more compounds during a cycle.

I think it would be interesting then to run the same 500mg/week test cycle I just ran as my first cycle over again but with IGF included for the second cycle. Maybe forget the dbol I was thinking about and just try that instead.... Food for thought anyway. Thanks Makwa.

Would be an interesting experiment to compare results with and without igf

Yeah, I feel like it's worth a shot to see. I've been kinda interested in hgh and researching it lately and thinking about a 4iu split run with it. But im going to look into picking up the IGF-LR3. I got an appt with my trt doc at the end of the week too so I may bring the subject up and see. She seems pretty open to discussion about such subjects. I brought up proviron and increasing free test and she said it would be nice to have that approved by the fda and implemented into trt here in the states...

Me personally I would just do test only cycles until you see diminished results because with diet and training I’ve seen really good gains on test only. Or test and deca. And then add igf. I would love to see another 20lb gain on test only with a little igf. I could only imagine a test tren and igf and hgh would be amazing. Adding in that the people that I know that use hgh with tren say they have less sleep issues.

I just ran a little 10 week prop cycle for my first. I'm going to switch to test E for my second and push it out a little further, and maybe just kick it with prop. From what Makwa is saying I really can't see any reason not to add the IGF in as long as I'm bulking and my carbs are sufficient, maximize the potential for grow th each time which, in my mind, also could equate to maybe running less cycles in a given year thereby minimizing stress on vital systems.

Nothing is definite yet, I've still got several weeks before I start, so I'm just looking at all my options at this point, and getting the most bang for my buck out of simple test cycles is very appealing.
