cutting out test for competition?
ad
I have been looking through alot cycles for competition prep and I see alot of them cutting out all testosterone 2 or more weeks before they take the stage. Reason being they feel the test would make them retain water. Is this necessary or are they just being paranoid about retaining any water? Good idea? Bad idea? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Edit: I should also mention they continue taking whatever else they had in their stack, just no more test.

for my last competition i was hitting 1500mg of test till the day of the comp, and i came in 1st. if u want to lose the water then AI, winnie, and masteron is ur friend. also did sodium cycling
Some do bro but i like to keep low dose (250mg) of sustanon in the mix it just helps you to not eat into too much muscle when dieting like a fkn ethiopian lol..... its something you will have to experiment with to find which method suits you best bro..... simple as that.
Hammer VitC for 2wks pre comp you will have ZERO water trust me lol 6000mg split throughout the day... i never use diuretics or anything and can get as dry as concrete.
Sounds good. I was thinking keeping it on the low end so that is what I will stick with for this time around. Thanks for vitC tip.
Brother.. if you check out my last comp pics i even ran deca at 200mg just to keep the joints lose.... just proves its the hardcore diet and water control that does the trick!.... most would say deca is a "wet" compound... well it is if not controlled with mast and provi.... usually the water bloat on a deca cycle is the massive amount of test generally used that aromatises!.. but folks just blame deca without doing further exerimentation.
i have heard of guys switching to test suspension a few weeks before comp and running letro as well as other compounds but i dont compete so i dont know much
ClassyChassisIt's not a "bad" idea, but this practice started in the days before AIs, so there is that. Of course if you're running a long ester test, 2 wks isn't really going to be enough without an AI if that's the plan. For the hardest, driest look I'd run nothing but tren a and mast prop the last 2 or 3 weeks. Maybe a little test prop if you feel you need it, although I don't personally. As far as contest prep goes you can never be too "paranoid". If you think something will improve you 1%, that might be the difference between first and the guy that lost.
