+ 1 Bpc-157 & TB500

ad

I recently severely sprained my ankle, went down, felt a pop and my entire foot is swollen. It’s slowly getting better, but being that I work on my feet all day at my job, I went ahead and ordered BPC-157 & TB500, something I’ve been wanting to try for a while, this just sped up my ordering. I ordered 3 vials of 5mg each. I’m curious for recommendations on dosing of each to treat an injury. I’m also on HGH, I take 2IU a day. Any help is appreciated. It’s been slowly getting better, over the weekend I could barely walk at all, and now I’m at least able to move around and when I go out, I got a nice ankle brace that really helps. Just curious what kind of dosing I should be looking at for these products. Thanks in advance.

Thanks
J

Damn that looks bad bro. You said "severely sprained my ankle" and heard a pop, but did you get an actual xray and I just missed it ? That looks like a potential fracture in there. Lots of little bones there and wanted to make sure you had the whole picture when healing up.

I didn’t hear a pop, I think I may have felt one but km not too sure. I know going to the ER right away for X-rays, even if it was broken, they wouldn’t have been able to do anything because of the swelling. The swelling is down now, it’s slowly getting better, I’m able to walk on it & it looks a lot like numerous other peoples bad sprains that they’ve had. I do plan on if it doesn’t continue to get better to have it checked, just in case, now that the swelling is down. Really hoping nothing is broken. I’d think if I broke something, I wouldn’t be able to walk on it like I am, but I could be wrong, so we’ll see what happens. I just didn’t want to sit in the hospital for half a day, just to be told “yeah it’s broken but nothing we can do until the swelling goes down”. So we will see what happens.

I'd Listen to Dr. Mac mate - Definitely worth getting an X-ray done Good

My suggestion is and I know this is not a great answer but there are some studies or dosing protocols that tell you how to use it. Pretty sure TB 500 is like 2 doses a week at 5mgs and BPC is a smaller dose but most protocols that show effectiveness are done over months. You need to spend like 500 dollars for it to be worth the use imo. But it doesn't work for all injuries I had no success with labrum and bicep type of tears.

That 5mg number is complete bullshit. I ran it at 500mcg 2x per week on top of 250mcg BPC ED. It completely healed a tear in my brachialis within 2 months. You have to inject directly into the injured muscle tissue area, subQ is a waste.

I have used it 4 times and it never worked for me, torn labrum plus bicep tendon. I was talking about the TB 500 not the BPC at 5mgs a week. BPC can be used 2x a day anywhere from 250mcg to 500mcg a dose. And yes you need a higher dose to heal but if you have an injury that will just heal with rest then why waste the money on TB 500 and BPC 157? Also injecting into a tone ligament or tendon without knowing what your doing is dumb. The complications and chance of infection is way to high to risk it let alone damaging it more by sticking a needle into it. You can inject around it but it still works systematically and isn't going to go to that injured tendon or ligament any better then going into the opposite arm. But if it is the muscle then yes but I was talking about ligaments and tendons and you seem to be talking about the muscle. If injected into torn muscle it might work but I know for 100% a tendon or ligament tear is complete BS in healing from TB 500 or BPC 157. Most protocols I read suggest a loading phase for the 1st week. Then 1 2 mgs every other day for the TB 500 and like Chad said 250mcg to 500mcgs of BPC. Most people who have tendon or ligament injuries get no better healing then rest and if you need surgery it is especially a waste of time and money.

I know you referring to the TB. I’ve read the literature too. It’s complete overkill. The first time I ran BPC without the TB i got minimal results, once I switched protocol and combined the two, it was a huge improvement. I’m speaking from my experience just like you are yours. I haven’t used for ligament repair as you have, so I have to take you for your word.

I am just going by what most people suggest. Some say up to 10 mgs other say 2mgs a week. So you have to decide what best but most people use those protocols

Luckily it’s not crazy expensive, only $25-30 a vial. Doing the whole 5mg in one shot seems like a lot, I could be wrong, but everything I read was always dosed at mcg. I don’t have them yet, so I still plan on doing some more research on it, but also wanted the opinions of people here. I wanted to try the peptides, this just gave me a reason to see if they do anything for me, lol.

If you don’t mind me asking, you said it did nothing for you. How much were you using and how were you taking it? Were you injecting it at the injury spot or just in a basic area? What was your “protocol” like when you tried it?

The studies show that the doses tested on Mice were super doses and that is why people wrote protocols to compare the doses from that study to human equivalent doses Most say a month minimum and longer for it to work. But also that is dependent on the Injury a person is trying to heal from. I have used it and you would be better off using money on PRP or some type of stem cell therapy. 1 bottle of TB 500 and BPC 10 mgs won't do shit. I haven't used it in 3 years and one thing I have always read and heard is finding good quality BPC and TB 500. Most places who get it never get it tested but if you find one that shows it has been tested I would go with that site.

5mg is absurd overkill

Hey take it from me. Torn achilles once and also stretched tendons & ligament on ankle to the foot couldnt move any toes for 3 months
Keep doing you protocol BUT BUT also please soak this foot in epson salt with warm/hot water. It will help you sooo much man. It sounds silly but please trust me. Ive been there done this shit its amazing what your foot will feel when its being soaked.

Jaxattax86's picture

Thanks for the advice. I’ve done epsom salt soaks before, so I know they do help. I haven’t brought heat on it yet because the swelling is just going down, so I have been icing it on and off since it happened. Now that the swelling is basically down, I can also use a heating pad and do some foot soaks in warm/hot water. Appreciate the advice.

I always thought that sounded dumb too. Then I tried it, epsom salt has cleared up an infected abscess thing for me and my moms iv line got infected after her surgery like a month ago and her bicep was huge and red but she didn’t want to be cut open because she just had surgery and her immune system was compromised form the cancer and everything, epsom salt soaks cleared it right up and the doctor was gunna cut a chunk out of her arm and now it’s the same as it was before, there’s zero mark nothing. It’s like magic for real

UUuuuffff DAMN that looks Nasty!!

Jaxattax86's picture

Tell me about it -- I was sitting on a chair, kinda like half Indian style with my one leg under me for like 2.5 hours waiting for my car to get an alignment. When it was done, they called me to the desk and I didn’t realize my leg was 100% asleep. I stood up and my leg was like jello, rolled on its side and all my weight went down on it. 99% positive I felt a nice pop and everything when it happened. Spent the weekend in bed and really hurt to walk, honestly was scared I broke it. It’s slowly getting better, I’m able to walk around more with less pain and when I go out I got a nice brace but the bruising is real nice lol. Pretty sure at this point if it was broken, I wouldn’t be able to walk on it at all like I am, and even if it was, the swelling they wouldn’t be able to do anything right now anyway. So if it doesn’t keep getting better, I’ll get it checked, but I’m pretty sure it’s just a really bad sprain. Sprains usually hurt worse than actually breaking a bone.

OMG I bet that was probably worse than getting the car bill then!! I think it will just be a case of time healing it up mate rather than rushing it along with peptides, you want it to heal right and don't be trying to rush it and lift on it with full bodyweight supporting exercises at least at first.

Jaxattax86's picture

I’m not doing any kind of lifting while this is healing. Unfortunately I am on my feet pretty much all day while working, so if I can possibly have it heal a bit quicker, it’d be nice. I still don’t plan to be doing anything extra that I don’t have to do on it until it’s fully healed.

Damn buddy, I truly feel sorry for you having to be stood up working on it all day, is there no way your employer will give you some office/desk based work or something a little easier for the time being?

Jaxattax86's picture

Unfortunately not. Some days are different than others, one day I could be driving for 6 hours, the next day detailing one of the company cars, the next day doing random projects around the place. It’s a part time/as needed job at a funeral home, so no day is the same. Weirdly enough, on Monday when I went in, I was debating on calling out because I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to be on it all day, and as the day progressed it actually felt better. By the end of the day, I was hardly limping and barely felt it. It was almost like being on it and stretching it out kept it from being stiff and reduced the pain. It was weird. Some of the pain came back, but it’s not like it was over the weekend where I could hardly put weight on it.

Thanks. How important is it to get close to the ankle? I’m not 100% but I could’ve sworn I remember reading that injecting near the injury vs other areas didn’t seem to have any difference, but I could be wrong.

I can tell you from first hand experience it makes a huge difference. I had a terrible strain, possible tear in my brachialis that wasnt getting much benefit from them until I started injecting directly into the muscle. I started getting less pain and weakness within probably 10 days of doing this.

Same experience for me. Bicep tendon and shoulder. I do 250 mcg BPC in morning and another 250 in the evening. For TB I do 500 mcg EOD. Half life of BPC is short. Switching from stomach to the shoulder made a huge difference.

Thanks Chad P (I can’t figure out how to tag you with the space in your name lmao) and @DCBG78. The information is very much appreciated.
