Question about blood work
ad
I found a lab that tests for these specific things (please see attached pictures). The one pic that I highlighted, the ones I highlighted are the ones that would be included for me. The other ones are for females.
Is there anything additional to this test, that they don’t test for, that I should also have checked?
Thanks for any/all advice.

I use privatemdlabs.com You can get anything that you need tested. I do the full male hormone test package. It has all of if cbc, cmp, trust, estrogen, exc... you chose the lab that you want I use questdiagnostics.
I can’t go into detail why here in public why, but I can’t use those third party lab services. I have to order straight from quest and/or labquest. I’m trying to find a reasonable solution to this because going directly through them is more expensive than the 3rd party sites. They also make the tests to choose extremely confusing.
JustinbieberAre you getting total test too? E2 sensitive ?
Don’t forget about basic bloodwork like cbc cmp ast alt
Yes, total test as well as free test are included.
I’m not positive if the estro test is the high sensitivity one. I’ll have to check with the company. Worst case, if I have to just add that on separately, I can. Still would most likely be cheaper than my other options.
As far as the other tests you mentioned, I’m assuming those are ones that would be in a comprehensive metabolic panel, but could be wrong. If it’s not listed in the list in the pics, it’s not tested. If it is a comprehensive metabolic panel that you are referring to, that as well as the high sensitivity estro test on its own, is fairly inexpensive. I’m just in a situation where it isn’t very easy to get blood work done for a reasonable price. I was hoping this test would cover a majority of things I need, and anything additional shouldn’t be too much. I’m just not 100% sure what additional ones I’d need to get.
Aside from the testosterone the cbc test is going to be your friend. The only thing I didn’t see, or may have missed, is the prostate specific ag, depending your age and family history I’d definitely get that done.
I’m 37 and to my knowledge, no family history of prostate issues. However I can get those tests done separately, if needed. I do get blood work done from my urologist too, either once or twice a year. This test would be for me to utilize for a cycle, besides just running test compounds. It’s priced decently and the easiest option for me due to certain circumstances.
You should be fine then, but the testosterone does affect everyone differently. A friend’s husband recently had to come off because his level was high and he was on a true TRT dosage from a physician. Shit I just turned 48 and they sent me an email saying they want to shove a camera up my ass. I’m not looking forward to that. Maybe I can give them a SD card and upload to self shots here? lol
Why did your friends husband have to come off for his levels being too high? What was his trt dose? They couldn’t just lower it a bit?
A CBC test would be $30, cmp $50. Prostate is $70. I don’t know how often those should be checked, but I do know my urologist tests for that when I do his blood work.
