Whoops

ad

Hey guys, I made a booboo and was wondering if you could give me some guidance as to just how big a booboo it was.

Went to a men's clinic to see if I qualified for TRT. Went in earlier this week to do the following labs:

Comp Metabolic Panel
CBC w Diff w Plt
Total Chol
Estradiol
PSA
Total Test
Luteinizing Hormone
TSH-Rfx on Abnormal to Free T4

Once the blood work was done I knew that even if I qualified for TRT my next labs weren't scheduled for 120 days from when I actually begin TRT so I decided to run a simple 8 week cycle and pinned 250 mg of Test E/75 mg of Tren Ace on March 7th and again on March 9th. The cycle also includes a Winny oral but I just received it today, so haven't taken any of them.

Today, the clinic called me and said that someone had screwed up and that LabCorp had not ran the Estradiol, Luteinizing Hormone or CBC labs and that I would need to go in and have those three labs re-done.

I know LH can be used to determine whether someone is already using something else-and was told that's the main reason they check it.

My thought is that those two injections on their own are not going to be enough for my LH levels, or any others, to toss up red flags but I wanted to check with you guys to see what your thoughts were.

Footnote: T levels were low (wouldn't give me the exact number because physician hadn't reviewed the results yet but did tell me they were low) and I do qualify for TRT based on that.

Thanks bro.

I'm just going to put off the labs as long as I can then.

Will shoot for three weeks and hope for the best.

The longer you can put it off is probably your best bet.

Agreed. They can not force you to go in for a test so make an appointment and then miss or change it again and again until you feel confident that you will get the results you want.

Good news! While trying to track down who dropped the ball here I ended up getting a call from the clinic. Apparently, they keep a backup vial in case LabCorp needs more blood for whatever reason and that they will be able to complete the testing with that they have. Not sure why we didn't just start off with this information but I've certainly learned a lesson about jumping the gun on things.

I appreciate the guidance Makwa gave me. However, as I stated previously, the lab and the clinic have informed me that there was a backup vial-obtained before I started this cycle-that will give them enough material to complete the testing, so I don't have to go in and have new blood taken.

And I'm not trying to be a smartass but what do my stats have to do with the subject of this thread? Regardless, I'll give a little background. I've been lifting all my life but went on some medication-plus developed hypothyroidism-that caused tremendous weight gain, topping out at 318. Between stopping that medication and starting synthroid I have dropped back down to 260 and I waited until dropping almost 60 pounds before starting back on AAS. I'm running cutting cycles only until my body fat% is where I want it-just trying not to lose any more muscle mass while continuing to lower the body fat.

I'm certainly not doing this for any competition but merely to get myself and my body back closer to where I was when I turned 40. Let me tell you, it felt like crap being 300+ pounds-mentally and physically.

Pictures will come as I have been taking them weekly since I started this but they, as well with logs, will come once I get closer to my goals.

Thanks again everyone for the responses!

Makes perfect sense.

They're not re-running the T levels, thankfully. Just Estradiol, LH, and CBC.

Damn. I guess at this point all I can do is try it and see what happens.

Better to get in and get it done as quick as possible, you think? My thought there being that the reactions aren't going to be instantaneous and the longer I wait the worse everything will get?

Makwa's picture

The reactions have already happened so your LH will likely show up as being tanked. Could take several weeks or more to rebound if you stop everything now.

You are probably screwed. The tren will shut you down in no time flat big time if you weren't already. Doesn't take much of a 19nor to do that. They are now not going to get an accurate picture of what is really going on. Depending on the testing method, the tren may show up as whacked out numbers for your estro also. If they run T levels again, you are probably screwed there also.
