New to forum, def like the over 40 title lol
ad
So yes over forty,, So what would be the best way to get back into steroids after a long hiatus from them? cant find really anything online, and dont really want to do the "bro-science" thing. So basically do i start out as a basically as a "newbie"? or start where i left off in dosage which wasn't enough to kill a horse, but think of a regular fit bodybuilder who didnt want to get super huge but maintain testosterone at decent high levels and avoid the "dad" bod..... lol

Mid 40’s here sign me up in this club
My opinion is start off like your new. Let your body get used to the new diet and the addition to the anabolics.
Its gona be a fun ride. Enjoy it
Beside muscle memory will kick in soon enough
Hopefully,,, Thanks bro.....
40's is the new 20's!!! Lol
Agreed,, Be safe, be Well
If its been over a year since you have cycled then really you need to be approaching it all like a beginner again IMO - 500mg Test E/wk and add on from there. I see many guys cycling till their late 50's, the main reason they go to TRT seems to be they just step down in their training intensities and goals as things become tougher and recovery takes much longer. Still keep taking the health supps religiously that will offset the sides as much as possible such as Fish oil, TUDCA, Glutamine, Potassium, Vit C, Saw etc. The guy's who often encounter the health problems are the ones who neglect taking these and still practice taking mega doses of the harder drugs, you can see just as many blokes suffering health problems nowadays in their 20's as you can in their 50's - probably more even.
Exactly or almost exactly what i was thinking, sometimes you just need to see what you are thinking from someone else, Apart from the regular supplements which i will take into consideration.. thanks be well
trash300TRT or natural, in my opinion the best for all over 40! Just my opinion, I respect everyone!
Anon'Enhanced' is the only way to live, once natural production wanes. I hit a brick wall at 43 or so.
Anon50 is the new 30.
Welcome brother.
Thanks
Bigun2Welcome! So if you’re 40 and Test levels are low why not just go on Dr prescribed TRT? Not saying this is necessarily what you should do, but I’d definitely advocate that route as opposed to self prescribing TRT.
I’d wager you’d make solid gains just by getting your test to normal level if you’ve been training for an extended period of time with sub-optimal test levels.
Because from experience prescribed TRT is a hell alot more expensive than self-medicating....
only if you're going to a men's health clinic
No i went to the local vet..........
So u have been on TRT. ...I'm guessing ur doctor gf is the vet... Welll btw trt, good diet and workout u shldnt be so worried about the low t dad bod.. hmmmmm
Bigun2Why you gotta be a dick?
lol My apologies i actually he was trying to be funny about "mens" clinic, i thought that was meant jokingly thats why i replied "the vet"
Now be cool. It's probably true. Vets treat bitches all the time.
funny,,, i guess thats warranted lol
This is true true!
Bigun2^^^ this. If your dr is in a shopping mall, only does TRT and is a cash-only operation then yea, it’s gonna be cost-prohibitive. But if you’re going to your PCP or GP, get blood work and are prescribed TRT that should be a service that’s covered by your insurance.
My insurance doesn't cover cypionate, but goodrx out of pocket cost me less than $20 a month. I'm covered under a gp.
Bigun2Good info. If you have a legitimate medical need for something then there are various avenues to lower the cost threshold. If your test levels are normal there are doctors with questionable ethics that will still prescribe for you, but the cost is going to be substantially higher.
Not if you get your scripts from a doctor and fill it at walmart.
Molinin302Welcome to the dinosaur club buddy
Speak for yourself Mol lol.
is this the forum where ex bodybuilders come to die?
Molinin302You'll find it all here, younger, older, bodybuilders, powerlifters, there's even a midget. But it's health first. Consider your goals and reasons, most will recommend a Dr for trt, but at the minimum get a physical and some bloodwork.
Even a midget! Gold Jerry, Gold!
lol
Welcome to eroids. Ur deffinately in the right place. No glorified steroid use and plenty of resourceful knowledge from member experience, bloodwork, and studies. Please do plenty of research and ask questions based off of ur research and experiences.. sounds like u are concerned about Low Testosterone symptoms, so first thing is u need some bloodwork to start this journey. Need to see how low and if u have any underlying conditions. Ur 40, U don't want to just guess and have complications. Also, diet and nutrition play a major factor along with body fat. Really glad to have u bro, we have alot of 40+ guys here with u..
No ofcourse Did all that, my gf is a doc and i get all the tests i want for free.... just comes with age, my testosterone is lower, all tests came back fine, have high red bloods cells but not due to disease. i get that treated by just giving blood two to three times a year. Besides that all organs levels are fine.
So basically want to get back to normal gym and strength levels on when i was cycling. I understand i am not that young anymore, but still capable of regaining some or all where i was at, but within obvious parameters. So i just want to know to, do i jump back in or ease my way back like a
'newbie" since havent done any cycles for quite awhile... thanks
Wow wish my gf was a doc.. Sounds like ur already ontop of bloods. So the answer is treat it as a newbie. Hit the gym and get that muscle memory back to 100%, work on ur diet to get ur bodyfat below 15%. Then before cycle ud might want to travel TRT route for a while... Make sure ur body isn't reacting differently to the test then when u did it before. Then consider a cycle by upping TRT dose to cycle levels to see how ur body reacts to higher levels.. Lots of good topics on this. Enjoy
