how do you not make your doc mad

ad

Alright guys so if youre on trt you get blood work done regularly from your doc. How does your doc not know your taking gear? If he catches you taking gear from your labs, is he not supposed to terminate your script?

i'm out of the loop, but im 99% sure there was a time when inexpensive online legit Dr's would run your blood-work and then open a safe of choose-your-own-prescribed-gear-for-you. Just poke around, if they still exist they weren't hard to find when I was on the boards years ago.

I also know that this is an unsexy opinion hereabouts, and for nearly all good reasons, but many, many npc top competitors and ifbb pros were on 'trt' in their late teens to early twenties and beyond. Permanent damage inevitable? Yes and no. Dr. knowingly prescribed for abuse yet monitoring blood-work as to perform some sort of medical ethics? absolutely.

'gone are perhaps the days of american pharmaceutical candy flavoured sublingual winny for 'low test' somehow legally!

I really do not think it is a good idea. You should run away from here and run too your lady that actually cares about you and your long term health.

@mikeyg4321, brother, as you're most likely aware, the peeps on this site all preach a very loud sermon of abstinence from using exogenous hormones until much later in life. That message is repeated for many, many reasons, again all of which you're probably very well aware, especially since you posted this message in the "OVER 40 TRT" section.

There's a reason there's no "UNDER 25 TRT" section here. It's called squats, deadlifts, whiskey and women. Don't piss your 20s down your leg like most men do, then wake up at 30 and have an endocrine system that's fucked.

Listen to palmcoaster in his comment below, and again, make sure you're doing plenty of squats, deadlifts, front squats, and lots of presses (flat bench, incline dumbbells, etc) every fucking week. When you work those big muscle groups, you'll get the most bang for your buck regarding your natty hormone responses.

This thread link below has multiple links as to WHY to wait, and HOW to kick ass with your twenties. AAS will still be around when you're in your mid 30s and you've hit your plateaus. Read this, learn, lift hard, chase women, and come back here in 2020 to fill us in. Go forth and be young.

At 23, there should be no thoughts of trt in your arsenal. Your levels are peaking now and at 195, there is still tons of growth at your disposal with a proper eating regimen. Docs orders are bump your protein intake up to 300 grams per day and 4500 calories and call me in the morning

You guys are all advising a 23year old. WTF!

zeusmarada's picture

Holy crap. I did not even think to check. You are right.

FR sent.

@mikeyg, please keep us updated! This sounds like it could be something that I could also benefit from, and I am eager to learn from your experience. Thank you for sharing this with the community!

How often is your blood work? Every 3 or 6 month's?

IrishMack's picture

Thats awesome, because being on trt when you dont need it is the best thing! And when that POS doctor gets caught for giving out trt to idiots good luck finding another one that wants to play along!

What in the fuck are you thinking? I am negging this because it is reckless, stupid, and a waste. You in some sort of rush to never have kids? Let me guess, you plan someday to go pro or this is your lifestyle or (insert another excuse).

PCT and go back to building muscle naturally if its not already too late. There is a post here about aggressive PCT to kick start you back to normal. Instead of researching aas research diet, training, and the disadvantages of starting aas young.

Does your friend know that you run gear?
Because if he does maybe your friend can talk to his doctor friend and you guys can become friends and you could actually let him know what you're doing and maybe he can monitor you. Just a thought.

madman's picture

You basically answered your own question to this post.

madman's picture

That's not a bad idea.

I am on TRT and been going to the same doctor for the past 15 years. I didn't start using gear until I was 27, but when I did I was straight forward with him. He doesn't supply my TRT script it's cheaper if I get it myself it would cost me more if I go through my insurance. He does monitor me while on and off cycle. Just gotta find the right doctor that's willing to work with you.

juiceball8082's picture

My doc checked me every 6 month's. So right after labs blast for 10-12 weeks then clean up for the following 12 weeks.

juiceball8082's picture

That and so your blood work don't look bad.

juiceball8082's picture

Yeah then you could do a 6 week blast of short esters and 6 weeks to clean up. Every 6 months would be better. Stick with short esters if you do this!

madman's picture

If you are on a TRT prescribed dose from a doctor and get blood taken regularly then you decide to blast a cycle and get bloods taken again from your doc I assume he's going to know something's up when he sees your test levels way up there.

madman's picture

Worst case scenario if he does terminate your script you could always get some pharma grade TRT dosed gear here which would probably be a lot cheaper than what you're paying unless you have some really good benefits.
