Blood results help please

ad

I was self prescribing 200mg test a week. It was actualy 100mg test e and 100mg undecanoate.
To keep things short. Endo said to stop self prescribing so they can start a proper trt regemin. She took blood and my levels were far too high......... Another few weeks have passed and I had my blood taken again on Friday.
Results have came back, I've just rang the doctors.

Results are.....

Total testosterone: 31.9 nmol
Free testosterone: 930 npl
SHBG: 22nmol

I'm seeing this as me being in the high range of normal, correct me if I'm wrong?

The doctor hasn't looked at my results yet but I'm just wondering can anyone hazard a guess as to wether they will want my levels to drop more before starting the Nebido?

Thanks in advance

Just got a letter from the hospital and it turns out if have a small adonema on my purtuitary which is likely the cause of my low testosterone

looks like you are around 900 ng/dl, and dropping steadily.

You could just plan on postponing for a couple of months, do your own test prop in the mean time and be sure when you test again you'll be nice and low.

IS anyone in the US getting nebido? I havent seen it offered in any clinic ads, but we do love the test pellets in murica.

Levels are still to high. Most likely will tell you to come back in a few weeks and get bloods again.

Yeah sounds about right.
Any idea what they prefer levels to get down to before they treat with Nebido?
My levels will eventually bottom out but I'd rather not have to wait that long/let it get that far if I can help

Makwa's picture

Probably at least midpoint of range (500-600) before they would consider initiating treatment. They aren't going to put a 4ml slug of nebido into you when your T levels are already elevated. That wouldn't be very responsible of them to do that.

No I agree with you. I'm thinking if I leave it another 2.5 - 3 weeks then go and get my blood checked again to see where I'm at. That should be more like it then. No point going back in a weeks time

Undeconoate has a very long half life. Your levels are likely still elevated from that ester. Yes, you will be denied trt if you are showing high normal ranges. You are likely going to need to wait a couple more weeks until your levels bottom out.

Exactly it has a half life of 21-56 days, the longest of all. Its surprising to me when I see people on a sust cycles that include it only wait 14 days to pct, when they still have a massive amount of the decoanate still in them. You have anywhere from 21-56 days before all of the undecoanate is out of your system.
Nebido IS undeca and they give you a pretty huge injection once every 10-14 weeks, about a gram.

I bet if people really researched what they are taking then they might not take it, considering pct would start well over 3-14 weeks for sust not 14 days. OP has a long wait before it is completely out of his system.

OP has a long wait before it is completely out of his system.

This be the TRUTH !!!

The OP needs to be thinking month's not week's.

Then that's what I'm going to have to do....... Just wait it out. At least I know I'm not going to be left to self treat when my levels do get down so the wait isn't an issue

it wont be months,

I hope men read this comment and understand what you are saying. Nebido = long ass time before it clears your system, therefor should NOT be included in a balst. +1

+2. I didn't realise my test would be high for so long. Problem is I was just adding too it weekly without realising how high I was actualy getting my levels

Musclepants1's picture

I just don't understand why I've started getting a bit achy and some of the other symptoms I had when my test was low.
I was certain this one would come back low.
Just goes to show, can't just go off how you feel.

Yeah this is exactly what I thought. I'll speak to the doc tomorrow. They know I had been taking the test so it's not a problem that way. Just have to wait a bit longer but at least I know where I am now and they'll keep doing the bloodwork as requested.
Thanks for the reply
