30 Year Old with 230 Test
Hello,
Thanks to the help of this forum, I had a blood test done through Private MD Labs. I have been considering running a cycle for some time, after months of intense exercise with delayed muscle soreness (3+ days), fatigue and loss of sex drive. I just turned 30. I have generally been endomorphic, despite physical activity and have always had a long recovery time since I was a teenager. Recently, I started reading that intense exercise can "use up" testosterone after my sex drive fell off after joining the gym. Considering I never had these problems before, even when I ran 6-7 miles three times a week, I started to suspect my test was low. Hence the blood test.
So the LabCorp results show this:
free/total testosterone = 231 ng/Dl (range 348-1148 normal)
Free Testosterone = 6.49 ng/Dl (range 5.0-20 normal)
Estradiol, Sensitive = 13 pg/mL (range 3-70 normal)
IGF-1 = 184 ng/mL (range 117-329 normal)
I had the full panel run. With the exception of some elevated creatinine serum, which I attribute to increased protein (150-200 grams a day) intake the past couple months which isn't being used to build muscle because of my test deficiency, everything was normal.
Even though I use to run 3-6 miles every other day, I was in good shape but never seemed to get leaner or build muscle. I've always had effing man-boobs, no matter how much I could bench or how much I ran or how well I dieted. I have an appointment with an endocrinologist next week.
However, I wanted to request feedback/input and to try and understand the influx of exogenous test and how that impacts blood levels. I have seen on this board blood tests with 3,000 to 4,000 blood testosterone levels. I would be real happy to just have a blood level above what I have.
Suppose I get test enan injections of 250mg/ml (1 cc) weekly injections. I understand "ng" is a much smaller number than "mg". But I am sure there is some "burn" and uptake and that not all of it will make it to the blood.
How does this correlate to blood levels? Can I expect to get near 1,000 with a single weekly injection of 250mg of test enan? What are some experiences of people who have cycled and how much did their testosterone levels rise vs. how much gear? Also, is there a "magic number" at which testosterone will begin to aromatize to estrogen (e.g. if the value hits 1,500 ng/Dl Total Testosterone)? It would be interesting to get some comments on this.
Thank you for the input.

yea, it only takes 1.
Thanks everyone for the comments. My wife and I have 2 kids, and we're done (in fact was considering a vasectomy...wonder is this would make test levels lower, but don't see how it would?). So I have a couple appointments next week: with my general doc, an endo, and an anti-aging physician, who seems to focus on TRT/HRT. I'd like to do at least 250 mg test enan per week, whether I get a doctor to do it, or not have ordered from several sources with appropriate anti-est. I'll run another blood lab at week 4 of whenever I start and post it back here with results.
I did a cycle of Organon Sustanon 250 back in college (11+ years ago) after frustratingly getting no where in the gym. I remember having no acne, no gyno, no side effects besides hunger, strength and increased libido. I did the run for 8 weeks, if I can remember correctly. Stupidly, no PCT, nothing back then. I gained almost 30 pounds (a good amount fat), and I'll never forget in week 7, when all of a sudden I was able to bench 225lbs for 4-6 reps. Thinking back on this, I am wondering if my testosterone levels were always low and why I saw no side effects and great benefits from such a low dose cycle. Even after the cycle ended with no PCT, I seemed to keep most of the gains with no reduction in libido or anything. Both my dad and brother are on the heavy side with little body hair and muscle mass.
I lived half my life this way but won't spend the next half being 1/4 a fucking man! Thanks to this board and all your comments. Knowledge, and sharing it, is power!

I'm in the same boat mate. 30yr old, I was down in the low 200's - Instead of doing HRT like your considering I decided to run a cycle and do some good PCT to see what happens. maybe it'll knock something loose? Next stop will be HRT, but i'd like to avoid cause its not good if you wanna have more kids apparently.
My wife and I have 2 kids and we're done, otherwise, I'd be more careful. But let me know how yours goes. What are you using?
http://www.eroids.com/forum/steroids-qa/steroid-cycles/primo-teste-eq is the cycle i'm running now. only 2 weeks in thus far but will def post before and after results and some blood work panels.
There is an HRT program for like 3k USD a year that covers everything and even provide Anti E's throughout. National Medical Clinic, Inc. is the company, i don't know much about them, but I read through some of their stuff a few months ago and spoke with someone there.
One weekly shot of test E @ 250ml will exceed a testosterone level of 1,000 FYI. 200ml per week should set you right at your goal.
Depending where he is starting out and if he caught it early enough.
If a TRT guy gets too low, it will take several weeks (3-5week) at elevated doses to normalize his level. Lets compare it to an new under weight dog, you will need to put more food in him for the first month or so before you can cut back to normal levels.
Failing to do this will result in what I call a roller coaster ride, and beleive me "it is not a fun ride".
Way to long a post to answer everything.
Why not give 1ml per week a shot, run it for 4-8 week and get re-tested for an improved number.
You may find that is just a nice level to cruise at year long and not want to blast.
I will be the conservative voice in this thread.
But 230 would be a # that you would look at TRT with, so first choice is Dr, ....or No Dr.
