I’m sure I’ll watch the hafthor/hall fight, but I’ll be more glued to whatever it is Tyson does next.
Holyfield has issued a challenge contingent on the ban of knockout punches during the fight. I don’t think Tyson has that kind of restraint.
Either way, it’s still impressive watching him move.

Tyson is a beast still its scary just watching this video. I’ve been doing a little bit of amateur training the last year or so and most people have no clue taxing it is or how conditioned you need to be for a full boxing match. 2-3 min will have alot of people completely cooked and unable to even lift there arms anymore
That’s why I think the whole Eddie hall hafthor fight is stupid. The strength they’re going to throw away is such a waste, and it’ll still look like the old toughman fights that used to travel city to city. A bunch of big guys swinging hard for 1 minute 30 seconds, then winded as fuck the rest of the bout.

The guys are bigger and stronger these days and Tyson was never a big heavyweight ..it worked for him back then but Later in his career he STRUGGLED it’s not going to work NOW at 53 ... this isn’t Rocky Balboa... does he have ko power.?YES is it going to work on today’s bigger, stronger, FASTER heavyweights...it COULD but not likely and you lose the ability to take punishment as you age. You also lose hand eye coordination, speed, and reflexes...power is the last thing to go on a man but would a one punch power shot be enough? Will it land?? How many rounds can he go now? I don’t think he could hold down today’s big boys, but that was always part of his strength. He’d use his height to tuck under their reach and get inside. He was a master of that whole duck, while rushing in, and then the body shots or uppercut came.
His glory days are behind him, but he still looks pretty damn good.

It’s a short video, so hard to really judge, but I don’t see the same intensity or speed in Holyfield.
I’d still love to watch it, but I don’t think tyson has the restraint to hold anything back.
I’m honestly surprised to see him back out there at all. I remember an interview where they were asking him about training, and he said he couldn’t be in that place at all, that he couldn’t let that part of him surface, his ego took over, and he couldn’t be that person anymore. He was pretty angry with the questions and firm with his stance on it. I guess the animal part won over again
