So after 9 years with the wife… I have a massive issue. She asked me some question about movies and I quoted my favorite.. She then asks me what movie it was and I listed my top 3 favorite movies ever. I know she’s not a big movie person but holy fuck she’s never seen any of them…
Now don’t get me wrong if I put more thought into this list, I’d have movies like: no country for old men, gladiator, man on fire, hacksaw ridge, sicaro, training day, etc
But these were the top 3 off the top of my head that she’s never seen:

War Film: Black Hawk Down (the reason I joined the military) or 300 -Fury comes in a close 2nd/3rd
Comedy Fiim: Tropic Thunder or Super Bad
Serious/Drama Film: No Country for Old Men or Ex Machina
During basic we had a platoon chant we were nomads and we did 300 chant wat is your profession we all yelled kill still remember good ol days

I agree with BHD! Letters from Iwo Jima was directed by Clint Eastwood. I’m not sure why category it falls under, maybe a little drama but crazy to think of what both sides went through. But those are my top three and I’m sorry that they’re all “war” movies haha. Number 4 would’ve been Selena though lol.

Fun fact the movie was filmed in the town 30 mins south of me.. doxxing myself but the town of Brownsville it’s filmed in hasn’t changed a bit! It’s literally the exact same. It’s so cool. They do a movie festival for it around my b day
