Holy sugar free?!
I never really shop at Walmart, I’m more of a Whole Foods, Costco and Trader Joe’s guy.
But I stopped at Walmart to grab myself some household items. Cruising down the food aisle and I came across these G Hughes marinades! They’re sugar free so I took a peak! Teriyaki marinade that’s 5 calories per serving! The whole bottle is 120 calories! So I looked at another, orange ginger.. same thing 120 Cals per bottle! These are decent bottles too!
Bought a Ton of them to try. Got home and did half a bottle of teriyaki for about 3 days worth of chicken in a marinade bag. Threw in a tiny splash of some aloha soy sauce, minced garlic, and a tiny bit of Siracha. Marinated for 12 hours and tossed it on the traeger pellet grill! Threw my Meater probe in. Set the Meater app to 165 and walked away.
Let me tell you. Chicken was AMAZING. You guys have to check these sauces out! 3 days worth of chicken and used half a bottle. That’s 60 Cals over 3 days! That’s nothing, considering you’re not drinking the marinade either. So you’re getting less than that! This is AMAZING!
Check it out. I’m trying out the orange ginger tomorrow!
