I remember being in high school when Obama won in 2008. I remember asking my Dad "Obama seems cool. What don't you like about him?" He replied "We are Republicans. We vote for policy, not for people." He is not a Trump fan at all. He too is an old school religious conservative, and hates how Republicans now love a politician. I do understand when people say he is not a politician. But he definitely is turning into one. He is way more subdued than he was in the last election.

I am touchy when it comes to this subject as I am first gen Mexican/American. My life could have been entirely different had I been born in Mex. I am grateful as fuck to have been born here. Cartels plague where my family is from. Family have been killed, family friends have been killed. And these aren’t drive by shooting. They take it to the next level. Practically everyone in my family is undocumented but I guarantee they will work circles around most. I heard first hand white people in the union bitch about how Mexicans are taking over. Well that’s bc we work circles around them. We don’t bitch we don’t complain we work. Of course on site they can pay the mex less so they also save money hahahaha. However I do agree the border should be more secure. I don’t want what my family got away from to bleed into the country I’m from. I would like this country to have a better system to get good hard working people into this country with documentation. Most of us are self employed and doing well. I got what I need but I can’t imagine what some in my family could’ve done with education and papers. I am also “uneducated” luckily I have work ethic and pride. That’s the mex in me
Yo Sith! My mother's side is all Mexican, so I get what you are saying. I am an old school conservative, and have never understood why hardcore right wingers are so against immigration. Yes we need a secure border, but that plan needs to come with an easier way for hardworking family type people to come over here. Most Mexicans I know have conservative values. My best friend at work was born here, but his Dad was illegal. He is the most die hard "Build the wall guy" that I know. So it's not just white people that are for the wall.
We need to unify the Americas so this shit doesn’t need to happen anymore. We don’t need Nato of anything international trade if we unify the Americas. We would have thriving economies through trade and we have all the resources we ever need. Why does the US have to travel across the Atlantic for other nations affairs ? Let everyone fend for themselves and we focus inward on fixing the American continents.
i dont think theres anything wrong eith having that type of organization if its like a national alliance organization but past few years usa has been more focused on helping other countries and giving them billions when usa needs to be more focused on helping ourselves first. and what usa fails to realize is that they are just trying to be generous and help other countries to make everybody else like us but you have to be selfish and worry about ourselves first even if that means not pleasing other countries. they keep helping other countries first and we will end up being a 3rd world country

I see you mostly confront people who openly support trump then you follow up by saying you don’t support Biden either. What specifically don’t you like about either of them ?
In 2008 I voted Obama, 2012 I didn’t vote- In 2016, I didn’t vote and in 2020 I voted Andrew Yang. My solution is to boycott elections until we have candidates that we deem fit to actually run the fucking country. Also, we need more parties to choose from.
