Taking blood pressure medication while on cycle ?

ad

Hey I have some blood pressure reduction meds around. Would it be fine to take them while on cycle to keep blood pressure down? My current brand is Exforge.

Big DTswole, dont take offence to what the older guys say. Me and you are very similar (go hard or go home). They just get concerned coz over the years theyv seen people like you and me come and go.... literally go!!
In the ground... dead, from being too ambitious.
I personally think that you "do" know what your talking about:)
Ive had people tell me to slow down ect. But different strokes for different folks! We are all different and free to do what we want.

Youv obviously picked up on the BP issue and want to keep it in check, if you were a moron... you would ignore it, but you didnt! As far as drinking juice, cardio ect.... Those things do work for mild cases, but if your using high doses or never come off (me!), you owe it to yourself to see your doc and let them treat the issue.

I let my BP run rampant for a few years and have had issues recently, This is what the older boys "dont" want to see, people at 29 with enlarged heart, poor quality of life ect.. They dont say it coz they dont have anything better to do, If I posted my upcoming cycle I think their eyes would pop haha.

PM me if you ever need to chat bro.
Unbiased advise without judging, youl get flamed because of your age, but you obviously have the will to learn brother Smile

Do you own a bp monitor? If you really are 20, you may want to reacess your decision of anabolics. You'll be shutting down natural test. Your natural test is high at your age. Food will make you grow alongside training. Your test levels are probably as high as mine when I'm cruising. These guys really are looking out for your best interests here.

What is it when you're on cycle? If you're talking about taking non-prescribed BP meds for an on cycle BP of 140/90 I'd say forget it. Give them to your grandma.
Try taking any of the following instead:

Co-Q10; l-carnitine; Flax oil; Fish oil; Hawthorn Berry; Garlic (selenium); Calcium; Magnesium; Potassium; Vitamins C,D,E,B complex; Folic acid; and Niacin

Plenty of cardio, sleep, eliminate salt, drink plenty of water.

That pretty much sums it up. Oh yea tumurik too

Great info! +1

I use two meds year round:
Crestor 20mg (lipids) and
Trandolapril 4mg (ace-inhibitor for blood pressure)...

Only side effects are blood work coming back near perfect.
Im "on" pretty much year round so it makes sense to just bite the bullet and keep that shit in check. Guys that do even time on/time off are different, they'r BP/cholesterol should return to normal after pct.

Dont just take what you have lying around mate, theres always advances in meds and your doc might be able to put you on something better, keep in mind, if you dont have a doctor do the dosing for you, you run the risk of low blood pressure which is VERY dangerous!

Hope this help ya brother

Are you already doing cardio 20min minimum 3x a week? I believe that bp is very controlable through cardio and diet like tryp said... The medication would be last resort for me... I saw your post about going to the buffet, and if your eating out a lot, You may be takin in too much sodium, which causes hypertension. So, Cut out the salty shit, cardio, and get your vitamins. Bp meds should be last resort.

I take Lisinopril 10mg when it gets bad. I also do some juicing and that truly does work for BP and countless other things. I have a special tonic I use for my liver and BP. Sister is a Herbalist(Super Hippie) and she is in charge of all that stuff. I just drink whatever she says. But when I am running orals my BP goes through the roof. I don't like taking chances and I bust out the Meds.
