I see news reports frequently about how obese America has become, but it never quite hit me the way it did this afternoon when Grrl and I were at The Cracker Barrel. It started off by me noticing the table across from us had four rather large people seated there, scarfing down meatloaf, chicken dinners, pot pies, and all manner of pastries, breads and puddings. Ordinarily, I would have dismissed it out of hand, but that sight prompted me to look around, and I kid you NOT, almost every single one of the people in that restaurant were OBESE!!!
Where are we headed as a society???
It brought to mind this little gem right here.
