Set Up?
ad
Is it possible a lab could call law enforcement on you? I contacted a lab about getting a sample of gear analyzed. I lied and told him i found a vial that i suspect is steroids on my son and i just want to get it tested. the guy told me he could do it, he gave me a price and the address to send the gear and payment into . about a half hour later he contacts me again and tells me that he could also just bill me for the work being done. right away i starting thinking this guy is trying to get my address to set me up. Am i being paranoid or is this something i should be worried about?

UFOI think you played it right with the "i found this on my son and want to check what is is". But I'd stop there especially after he called you back and said he could bill you?? That doesnt make sense. I would never try and contact any university or labs that do that kind of testing unless you know the persoin doing the test. Like Zewi said, in their eyes it is in the same category as sending them heroine or coke to test. For all you know, the only reason he called you back and said he could bill you was because he already called LE and they instructed him to do so...
well it was all over email, he emailed me back, i never gave him my number so im just gonna drop it now and not contact him again
zewiYes they can call the cops, because its a felony. To have an illegal substance. That's like going in with Cocaine saying the same thing.
Wow, i wasnt thinking about it like that.... i tried to play it off as a concerned dad who found this stuff on my son and wanted to see if it was really steroids
PM sent
Not trying to be a dick here, but if you have any helpful input on his question why not just post it on the forum. I know I would be interested in what you have to say and I'm sure other bros around here would be to too... Just don't see the logic of PMing him in response to his thread, kind of defeats the purpose of a forum right?
don't worry bro, nothing that concerns you directly nor that you could be interested in
Supernova283Because he's treading on thin legal ground. We try not to discuss those kinds of things in public.
