Why does it seem like all juice heads on here are republicans when they no damn well they're going to vote for Obama when they get in the box this year. Where are the dems and independents. AnonWell I dont like Government waste and dont entirely trust big government, plus its massively inefficient. That being said , there is nothing I do trust more that the fact that big corporations will fuck me and anyone they can over. They are so powerful and embedded in both political parties with far too much influence. So you ask Romney or Obama ? Well so far Obama has been nothing but a "buddy" to big business , which is a disappointment. But which party is known to be the ball licking fools or corporate America ? The Republicans.
Really? Maybe read the entire Dodd/Frank bill and tell me how any Granny or for that matter anyone in the near future will become a home owner or much less qualify for a refinance. That was a bill to kill self employed people in the banking world and force them to go W2 rather than be independent and file a 1099. It also gave power to the Big banks and shut down all of the small lenders who actually approved people. As well as overhaul the wrong gluten's on Wall Street. Oh wait maybe it's Obamacare that will monopolize the Health/Pharma world so that everyone MUST carry insurance and not have a multitude of choices from the private sector. Obama was voted in by a sad mistake of a joke. 70% of voters did not have a first clue as to (1) policy put into place by the Obama administration. If they did they knew it by name not by content! But truth be told not one man could ever fix what many wealthy families destroyed!

It is funny when I talk to my friends from the EU and if the conversations comes to something like "the right to bear arms" or similiar, they are completely unimpressed and surprised it is such a big deal in the USA. But it is . . . it is part of our history.

I'm mostly a strong supporter of corporate america because of jobs they provide (which helps the tax base). If the govt provides all the jobs, then how can that sustain itself . . . the pay out to employees is always more than the taxes received!
The issue I think most folks are having is all the whining corporate america is doing. Big corps either blow their money, and ask for a bailout, or they hoard cash for bonuses and acquisitions, then cry poor and lay off thousands in favor of slave labor overseas.
If you are giving corps tax breaks and bennies, and their is no social uptick from that (giving Americans jobs, etc), then why the hell am I supporting those breaks?
It all has to work in harmony (and hasn't recently). The corporate leaders make a lot of money, but not ALL of the money. Folks who want a job, have one because corps provide them.

I still love the stars and stripes and I don't want this "worker's revolt" to destroy it. Think about how long it takes to rebuild all the great stuff we take for granted. We are fucked up, but we are still the best thing going.

It's all so stupid because instead of the rich getting richer, and stuffing their money under their pillows (giving them money doesn't always incent them to invest), and your biggest economic engine for even more growth is your middle class. Pay the bills, buy cars and presents and gadgets, go out for a nice dinner once in a while.
I think, at the most basic level, a society like ours develops good behaviors when it has some economic incentive.
Mixed economy means government legislation/regulation, not take over. The right mix has existed, but we seem to forget and not care until the situation is fully exploded.
Anonof course the problem is that some people got greedy.. they forgot about the middle class and their consumption habits.. I don't think "we" forgot unless you are talking about the government and big business.. they have driven this country into the ground..

I think the problem is most people are unaware of a behind the scenes agenda going on with the elites via, eugenics and population control methods (soft kill i.e. vaccines) and (hard kill i.e. war) to enslave the majority and pretty much control the world, technology, and natural resources for their own personal gain and use. The new world order is a very real thing and they have made some very big strides since 9/11 at takeing away alot of personal freedom and have set in place some very scary executive orders that could change our country as we know it in a heartbeat when the time is right through martial law and fema camps, no dissent ata ll allowed. Our media which once upon a time was somewhat of a watch dog is now owned by the people they are supposed to be keep honest. alternative media is the only way to get real news and to see what isreally going on .

Theidea that you punish success and reward failure is one Europe had prroven to be false and yet we are becoming them as they try to become what we were. Would you take hard earned points from a student in school to give some of them to a student that did not make an effort at all? Of course not, that system would fail immediately. So then why do we do that with our hard earned money, it is failing. I am as I think you are, willing to take care of those who cannot care for themselves but how we got to a place where someone who never applied themself in life can continue to have kids and get more and more money back every year when I have to pay my own childrens way and then give up my money to send those free checks out to the family having children they can't afford is beyond me. Well no its not, politicians have learned the way to get votes is to promise free things to people. So now the guy that promises the most free things wins...current president being the best example of that in history. This will all come to a head at some point in time and it worries me for my own kids. Why is it that if my neighbor works half as hard as I do and makes half the money I do and keeps having more kids he can't afford he is entitled to some of my money? I will plant my crops and if my lazy neighbor across the way does not plant a crop this year because he decided to ride his 4 wheeler all planting season is he entitled to some of my yield? So I am a nice guy, I will spot him some corn and beef once hoping he learned his lesson. If he did not by the time next season rolls aroujd its time for tough love. These are the principals of the conservative, we are willing to teach you to fish and even feed you today but once the lessons are learned and you refuse to fish, you are on your own. It is cruel to not teach a man to fish and continue to give him free fish, it takes away necessity, his God given ability to survivie and his dignity..these are the pricipals of liberalism. They don't mean harm, they think it is the right thing to do, but its not. If my son goes to jail, how do I teach him a lesson by bailing him out? I will do as my dad did and bail him once, the next time, the piper comes for his due. Its a tougbh decision to make but you do it. The longest walk of my life was taking my baby girl and dropping her in a foreign place among 30'000 people she had never met and seeing the tears in her eyes as I walked away to make the long drive home (college). I did it because I loved her and knew for her to survive I had to take her out of her comfortable little warm nest and allow her to make her way. Thats what love is, willing to allow people to have a hard time and make wrong decisions and deal with the consequences of those decisions. I will not be here forever and today my daughter at 24 is a self sufficient machine with loads of money and living life to its fullest in part because I loved her enough to make it tough on her and let her feel a little pain and diversity. Liberals are filled with love but in my humble opinion, they just don't know how to use it. The only time I get really pissed is when they refer to me as greedy. I am not greedy because I want people to be able to achieve, I am compassionate and I'm willing to let them hurt enough for their instincts to kick in. Its a wonderful thing when that happens even if you have to walk through a mile of shit and another mile of pure hell. Dignity is waiting for you on the other side. Poor is not dignified and to give people these little checks is like giving the lazy farmer free meals, its all he has and his dignity is nowhere to be found but I crippled him by making it easy on him. He will never know what he could have been because I didn't have the stones to send him back out in the night hungry so he could find his instinct. I don't do the hate thing with libs as I said they mean very well, they think what they do is compassion and it is but its simply misplaced IMO....Sorry for the rant , I'm passionate about this and try to keep it out of my eroids. Its not about left and right btw, its about people and we need to quit having the football team mentallity that makes us want our team to win and stop and think about which team deserves to win. Folks want more and more, but hey, we already gave out $15,000,000,000,000 too much, to EVERYONE (social programs, military, etc.). What's our return on investment? More whining and entitlement? That's quite the payoff.
Finally, if they want to up the taxes on the rich in order to balance the budget, do it. A balanced budget is an investment a rich person SHOULD want. But only if the extra $$$ goes to the budget, not drastically increased spending.
BTW, I will GLADLY accept anyone's riches if all I have to do is pay a higher tax rate on it. No brainer.
And finally, my view Bush's and BO's failures are primarily financial ones. Bush completely wrote blank checks, like BO, but at least that's expected from BO. Bush had no excuse. FAIL.

I can understand what your saying, but many liberals don't need your money. Many of them have plenty of their own. However, they believe they can best contribute to society by giving back some of what they have to people less fortunate. You are throwing out way too many stereotypes.
