Remember when......
Remember when this site was full of us helping each other and joking around? It was a really fun time and there are people here with alot of useful knowledge about our lifestyle and helping us achieve personal goals. It seems to me that there is way too much hating and pissing contests. I have an idea, why dont we all focus on ourselves and who really cares what someone else chooses to do or not to do. Also back in the day the mod team wouldnt allow open aired arguing and this immature crap. Lets get back to the days of eroids being a brotherhood and a place to converse with like minded individuals. I know some people probably will comment on this in a negative way and thats fine but this post is just my attempt to spruce eroids back up and focus on positive things.

I log off eroids for a couple months and see big changes to peoples karma and Mod stats. Its crazy, eroids has defiantly taken a turn. We still have the some old cool guys here though. It is what it is, eroids is no longer my life anymore, i just log in from time to time.

Well if this isn't an indirect shot to the jaw I don't know what is. Feeling nostalgic is always warm n fuzzy. But times change. Places adapt and evolve or they die out. The premise of evolution. Eroids is like any other community and we have also adapted to survive. As for the allowing the bickering back and forth. I'm not sure what you're talking about but we don't censor people and we have no interest in the topic of conversation unless rules are being broken. I don't know what time frame you are referring to but I have been here since 2011 and it's always been the same game with new faces moving to the forefront and old ones fading to the background. I believe in second chances and allowing ppl to redeem themselves so i will refrain from commenting on how ironic i think this post is.
Well put. Im not taking a shot at the mods. I just remember when the mods would simply post "this isnt the place for this, dont clog the thread up." All im trying to say is there is alot of members taking shots at one another. Posting in forums about people being fat etc. Not trying to comment on my situation or anything of the sort. I just thought maybe we could all use a spot check on treating each other with respect.

I agree. That forum does serve a purpose tho as much as some of us may detest it. If a mod is abusing their powers you guys need a place to call us out. Just remember tho, it is for calling mods out and mods only.
I found the very idea of the thread bashing anyone distasteful at best and just plain old childish and immature at worst ... what happened to acting like adults and discussing "REAL" issues as such. Name calling and profanity are pointless and it damages the integrity of the entire site ... we all look like a bunch of bitches who can't handle our koolade when we have to resort to a thread to say somone hurt my feelings and I can't deal with it ..

See, the problem with that is guys get a bunch of karma then they figure they can work the sources for free gear. Eventually the source get fed up with this extortion going on and they let admin know. So then we are forced to get all up in peoples business. Do you have a problem with that?
It's amazing what some people are prepared to do for a couple of bottles prop.
If you're that hard up for cash where you deem that worthwhile you're unlikely to be able to afford the food you'll need.
This is where "gear whore" tag would become useful.
It is a big problem. It sucks because at the end of the day we have to clear it out. I just wish these guys would check their moral compass before proceeding...
You should make examples of some of these higher karma members whoring sources for gear. Call them out and dock all their karma and maybe it will start to sink in that its not going to be tolerated.

For what its worth I agree with part of your post. But in practice it is so much more complicated. We have all types here. We have guys ramped up on testosterone that take everything personally, we have low life's that lie, we have good people. Depending on the day we can have a lot of laughs or a lot of squabbles.
