No steroids for kids
So lately I've been digging in deeper to this whole no steroids for people under 25 and you know I just can't see why not anymore. I mean personally I wouldn't do it because of my height and the whole growth plate closure thing, but I can't really see why 25 is the cut off point anymore.
I've looked into the whole screw up your system and testosterone peak thing and it really doesn't seem to matter all that much. Everyone takes the chance of screwing up their endocrine system while taking AAS regardless of age. That peak means nothing really.
There are psychological questions to be raised, but I've looked into that too and it seems sex hormones don't play much role in development as they do in current emotional state.
So can someone explain why exactly one should wait till 25 to do steroids because all the reasons previously given to me turned out to be pretty BS.

When your younger there is no reason to use aas, you have plenty of test already as it is. I think it is more of a too impatient sort of thing. They want instant results right away, they haven't done enough work with their diets or training methods. Being young means having less money usually, unless your a rich privileged kid. So they have less money in their pocket and want instant results, well gear costs money both on cycle and pct. So with not much money working at the drive thru, they have enough to buy just the basics, probably skipping an AI and pct. Why bother with pct when you have an istant result mindset and limited cash. What happens is usually bad news. They post what they gear they have and want cycle advice, well when the vets tell them to wait, how many do you really think wait?
Well if you know the risks involved and take the gamble, its your decision. Hindsight is 20/20 so all these older people telling you to wait should mean something. YOLO
I think it does have a lot to do with mental development. Studies show that test abuse will decrease brain function but will increase during optimal levels . I would presume this is why your body has a peak, not only for physical benefit but mental benefit as well. So, one should wait until their natural levels have started to decline because that is a sign of physiological development. This decline general coincides with the recommendation of the age range of 25 or older before starting aas. I just turned 26 and coincidentally, I have really just developed a good enough since of prioritizing and balancing everything in life to be able to take on a cycle and make it successful. From my experience, before 25, I lacked a lot of stability and discipline which is necessary for undertaking aas. So I don't think you can put an exact age on it but I do think you should seriously ask yourself if you are ready and give yourself an honest answer...my .02
Your 20 so lets use 20 as a starting point. Lets say you luck out and follow a guideline. When you turn 40 you will need to do a cycle fit for Jay Cutler. Now lets look at a how a 20 year old thinks. Now you being 20 you will argue with this but the fact is most men at the age of 20 make stupid choices. This is the reason car insurance rates are so high for males under 25. There is that 25 mark. That 25 mark has been research by insurance companies a great deal. These companies have tons of money and all they want to do it make more. They have learned that 20 year old males are more careless so to compensate for that they raise the rates. Young males think they are indestructible. They can handle anything and seeing how they "know it all" they fail to listen to advice based on history. When should someone start AAS in my opinion is base on a lot of things not just age.
I agree with you. Here is the issue at hand. Using any kind of steroids is morally and legally wrong to any good standing person in society. However, this "you need to be 25 because your brain is not fully developed" is absolutely ridiculous. Think of all the things that a human being is legally "allowed" to do at this age, but when it comes to steroids...his young mind just isn't developed enough. Uhhhhggg. Obviously, people are still mentally developing throughout their 20's, but when are they not? 60's? 70's? Is that when we should start steroids? Bottom line is the stuff is dangerous no matter what age you are at, correct? I don't know what's worse on here..a 20 yr old putting up a 24 week cycle with tren, test E, test P, and 14 weeks of Dbol; or a 35 yr old that does the same thing lol. Either way its retarded. A novice is a novice.
Supernova283Of course one must also assume these "children" are out of puberty. That can come at a range of ages, but obviously you wouldn't want to take roids before reaching puberty.
I am assuming however that most people yelled at are mostly ages 18 and above and have already gone through the change.
