My university's gym
ad
So I was just repping 365 on deadlifts later in my workout in a small room because the power rack area was full. I do 135x5 225x5 315x5 365x3. Then some skinny jackass (about 6ft 2in maybe 170) opens the door and says, "thats too heavy." I said "what" Then said I need to set it down lightly.
I was not dropping the weight I was setting it down. I then proceeded to tell him to try setting down over 300lbs gingerly
He then tried to tell me to put my shoes on. So I told him to fuck off and he left. And I left weight all over the place so he would have to clean it up.
This place has turned into Planet Fitness.

I pick up my weights, common courtesy. But when a "trainer" tries to tell me I'm lifting too much I leave it. I don't slam weights cause you look like a jackass. There's a difference between an exhausted, hard fought weight drop after a set. And the "look at me I'm a jackass" weight slam.
Yup same here. One time it was 10 mins before closing and this scrawny douche says i can't use a machine and i ask why and he said because he just got done cleaning up. I smiled at him and began repping.. Like wtf you gonna do you lazy twat why do they pay you
I understand completely. My university is the same way. The "trainers" they have in there are a joke. I by no means carelessly throw my weight around but am told constantly to "be more gentle" or "don't be so aggressive". I'm like bitch this is working out, not patty-cake, so get the fuck outta here with that weak ass shit. Lol
Some people just don't understand...
