Reta sides getting worse the second time around. Worth switching to tirz for sleep?
I've been a huge reta fanboy, but the sides are wearing me down and I seem to tolerate them less the longer I'm on it.
Run 1 (about a year ago)
4.5 months, 219 → 187 lbs
Some sleep issues, but nothing that was really killing me
In between
Ran my first blast during a bulk and got back up to around 230
Learned a lot about being a fatass and about E2 sides
Run 2 (current)
11 weeks in, ramped from 1mg to 4mg/week
230 → 207 lbs so far
Sides are hitting harder and faster than the first run:
Sleep is bad
Noticeable anhedonia. It's not negative or positive, just flat. I'm normally a pretty goofy guy and that side of me is gone.
More tired all the time, and kind of numb
Training is starting to suffer
Diet, lifting, and supplements are all dialed in, so I'm pretty sure this is just the nature of the game.
Plan: Dropping back to 2mg/week to see if I get some relief.
Question: Is it worth swapping to tirz? Sleep is my top priority. My job requires me to be well rested, and my training needs it too.
Anyone made the reta → tirz switch for similar reasons? How did your sleep and mood compare? im looking to improve my sleep over anything else. I've got a job that requires me to be well rested and my training is starting to suffer too.
