Hes my buddy, hes my faithful companion , I had him before either of my boys and I do love this dog immensely. Some may feel its reckless , some may not understand and think its a waste of good juice, but Friday night I gave the ole boy 50 mg of deca , 50 mg of test, and 500 mg of cardispan.
Hes creeping up on 13 and I see the change in him. I have to carry him up the stairs sometimes and lift him in and out of the truck, but he still seems happy to be around.
Maybe its wishful thinking, but I swear he seems more perky already. Im planning on this low dose once a week for a few months. Supposedly Deca is great for dogs, as is L-carnitine.

AnonI had to update this because both my wife and I are getting such a laugh out of what is going on here.
Let me fill in a detail. Since he was a pup he has come with me every day to work, he also loved to be outside. For the past 8-10 months now he has not wanted to go to work with me and anytime he was outside he just kept asking to get in, even if we were all out there.
Now hes been on my home brewed TRT for dogs for three weeks now. Now when we let him out in the morning we cant trust him. Three times now hes gone a couple of blocks down the street to go play with a female pitbull. Starting last week and all this week he is practically beating down the kitchen door as Im getting ready to go to work. Three customers commented yesterday about how perky he seems.
I dont know where this will end, and it has by no means taken a 13 year old dog and made him two again, but my god the transformation is amazing.

that's great! how big is your dog? 50/50 of deca/test might be a little much. it might be worth it to dial it down and see if it gives him the energy you want him to have without the alpha dog side effects.
Anonplus that will stretch the gear further. Ill give it a shot. he is almost 80 lbs though. Very big for a BC, but he was 60 all his life, (still big) till they neutered him then he gained 20.
At least the test will keep him from deca Dick! But he sure loves legs.......
It kinda pist me off when I seen the title for this but after seeing why you are doing it I changed my mind. I hope it helps your dogs joints feel better and make his senior years better. I had a dog I had to put down a few years ago with real bad joints. wish i had known.. good luck keep me updated how it works
I knew this dude... he was giving his Pit/Akita mix two shots of Cyp 75 mgs a week.
He would tie a rope with two tires attached to it's collar, then run em with his quad.
One of this guys friends came to the house, no one answered the door, so he went through the back yard thinking everyone was outside.
The dog grabbed hold of his forearm, they had to beat it to death right there for it to let go.... Right in front of his kids and everything.
Not sayin your training your dog to fight... just brought this story to mind.
AnonWow thats fucked up. But by the sound of things with or without the gear the combination sounds bad. Unfortunately thats also why pit bulls have such a bad rep, its not their fault the owners do crazy shit to them.
You could share a steak face to face with my guy and feel safe, Im shooting him up because DECA has been a god send on my joints and found out it works on dogs too.
Damn, I'm sorry man. I know it can be REALLY hard when a dog that you've had for so long gets old and starts to show signs of old age leading to getting put down. What you're doing sounds like a great idea for him, Deca will definitely help with his joints and maneuverability. What kind of dog is he may i ask?

Love boarder collies. Beautiful dogs. I have a 4 year old miniature pinscher (not like bitch little, hes 20 pounds and like the size of a jack russell), and he can vertically jump like 4 1/2 feet. Vids upon request if ya dont believe me haha. But yeah, I hope all goes well with your dog and he lives the rest of his life in good health bro
Lets not forget that one of the long-time favorites is Equipoise---a steroid that has helped horses add weight for decades now.
I'm not sure if it could help your dog, but it is used by a lot of horse trainers.

Hes not bad and doesnt need extra weight, you know hes just getting stiff .
IMO the cost of some deca and a little test is nothing if it makes him happy for a while.

Deca is great for dogs?...no shit?...where did you find this research?, LOL. Ya know, the thing is, is that these are hormones and in all animals, all hormones dissipate with age. I mean, you would think so, right?...at least mammals. If it seems like it is making him feel better, I honestly see nothing wrong with it. Give him the carnitine too...extra aminos won't hurt.

Shit if I spend 50 bucks a month on a low dose and it helps, it will be money well spent.

AnonIf you are refering to putting the dog down, then No theres nothing to realize ,hes no where near ready for that. The dog is still happy and functioning just fine, once in a while as I said carrying him up the stairs is really no big deal. If I can give him some more time and ease the arthritis all of us start to feel Im happy.
I had him Neutered at age 7 when the vet almost insisted. I almost feel I should have had him on TRT since then.
Your dog go mad when you inject him ? You do what you have to do its not good when your dog dies i have had my two dogs for 14-15 years now they realy are like your kids or smet part of the family put it this way i like them more than any human there a lot more loyle nuff said...but if you see it helping him then go for it.me on the over hand would after research for years b4 hand and still would be unsure putting steroids into me is my choice but your dog cnt tell you if his hearts grn nuts or he feels shite.
AnonUnderstood and thanks. He is an incredibly expressive dog. My older son has even asked me how the dog understands so much of what I say. Im no vet thats for sure, but I will read his actions very carefuly. So far so good.
