Frustrating clothes shopping
ad
This is only a mindless rant i had to let out.
Does anybody feel annoyed when you go out to the mall to the hope of purchasing clothes but only to find out they really don't make clothes in your size. And If you do find clothes your size it's not the color or brand you want. Im not the biggest guy there is but I feel that I can't go to a clothing store with out feeling that I don't belong. Now I don't buy clothes often. I firmly believe paying your bills, having food on the table, your own place and a car have a more importance in my life. Here's a commercial on how I feel. With the exception of those guys being overweight.

I buy all my clothes at Men's Wearhouse and get them tailored, which only adds about $10 per shirt
waltryour tailor is cheaper than mine =/
waltrmy biggest problem is finding stuff that fits me in the neck/chest without being huge in the abdomen area, i'm not even incredibly lean...
i bought a dress shirt the other day and had to take it to a tailor to get the body taken in cause it's fucking huge in that area...the neck/sleeves/shoulders all fit but i mean...
pain in the ass and it adds an extra $25 to the cost of every shirt..
I'm in the same freaking boat! Last month, my father had passed away and I tried to find a black dress shirt. I only had a day or so because the burial was going to be ASAP. I couldn't buy or tailor one for my size. I was pissed. But made do.
waltrsorry for your loss man =/
i think there's a market out there for clothing to fit people with muscles....
jcrew has a slim line that fits me good, but there stuff is kinda pricey
Thanks.
I tried going to Abercrombie store to try out a shirt for shots and giggles. I ripped it and I stretched out the neck line. Lol. I did have to pay for it.
BirmonI totally feel you man. My biggest hassle is finding pants/jeans that fit. I've got a huge butt and thick thighs, but a slim waist. From the thousands and thousands of squats I've done. I usually leave the store all sweaty and pissed off, empty handed. With shirts, the arms and shoulders rarely fit, or the back of the shirt rides way up high above my waist. Or it's tight as fuck around my neck. I'm convinced the average male must be a buttless, pencil necked twerp with a limp wrist and soft hands.
People have suggested just going to a tailor and have them alter, so I might try that. I guess the trick is buy stuff a little bigger because its much easier to take away than add fabric. I don't think it's all that expensive either.
Yup. I love squats! Unfortunately that causes me to try to find pant that don't ride my butt and aren't tight on the quads. Some times I feel like a freak.
