Key Takeaways
Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience using DHB. Aside from my HDL, all of my bloodwork remained within normal reference ranges throughout the cycle. This included LDL, PSA, Cystatin C, prolactin, estradiol (E2), testosterone, thyroid function, and the remainder of my lipid panel.
Additionally, I underwent a full-body MRI for unrelated medical concerns. Fortunately, the imaging revealed no evidence of cancer, and all of my major organs were normal in size.
I bring this up because two of the most common concerns surrounding DHB are: (1) a rodent study suggesting potential kidney enlargement and (2) the notorious post-injection pain (PIP). While my personal bloodwork and imaging were reassuring, I recognize that these findings do not necessarily rule out potential long-term health risks.
Now, regarding the PIP...
This was ultimately the deciding factor in ending my cycle early. My original plan was to run DHB for 16 weeks, but I had to discontinue it at week 14 because the injection pain became increasingly difficult to manage.
During the first eight weeks, the PIP was relatively mild and completely tolerable. However, between weeks 10 and 14, it progressively worsened. By week 14, the discomfort had become nearly unbearable.
It reached the point where I was routinely sitting on ice packs, both at home while watching television and at my desk in the office, just to alleviate the pain. Fortunately, the ice packs provided substantial relief, but the situation was no longer sustainable.
Despite the PIP, I was very satisfied with DHB overall. My experience with the compound itself was overwhelmingly positive, but the cumulative injection pain ultimately outweighed the benefits of continuing for the final two weeks.
Current Progress and Future Plans
For the next four weeks, I am running a low-dose, short-ester protocol before transitioning into what I consider my health phase.
My planned health phase will last approximately 4–5 months and consist of a TMP blend (Testosterone, Masteron, and Primobolan), administered every other day (EOD).
Planned dosing:
Testosterone: 60 mg EOD (~210 mg/week)
Masteron: 30 mg EOD (~105 mg/week)
Primobolan: 30 mg EOD (~105 mg/week)
Total weekly dosage: Approximately 420 mg.
The objective during this phase is to reduce my overall androgen exposure, prioritize recovery, and closely monitor my health markers before considering any future changes.

If you get a tan, youll be legit 11% LOL
Looking damn good bro. You might have sold me on the TMP for my next "cruise", but ill wait on your report in a few weeks.
Im interested in the pip from DHB getting increasingly worse. Is that a common thing? Is it just built up irritation form not rotating sites enough? In my mind, something either has pip or it doesnt, but always learn something new
