FELONS FOR GUN CONTROL

ad

In case any of you missed the story last week, a high court (and presumably a "high" judge) in Minnesota has ruled that a BB gun is now considered a firearm---believe it or not. And thats bad news for a man who was convicted of possessing a weapon as a convicted felon. He had previously had a felony conviction for drugs, and because he was driving a car that had a BB gun in the glove compartment, he was charged with possessing a weapon as a convicted felon. He appealed, and of course, like all convicted felons, he lost--- regardless of the facts or any sense of whats right and just.
And now, because of maggot politicians and public hysteria, any chance he may have had of getting a job, has now been crushed due to the fact that he now has a firearms conviction. I could understand if he was using the BB gun to rob a Quickie Mart. That wasnt the case here. And now, he will essentially be FORCED to resort to illegal activities in order to EVER scrape a living together, because he can forget about any job that doesnt involve a penis in his toothless mouth. He's now in prison for the next five years... apparently practicing.
Now I understand all of you fine upstanding citizens here on eroids who have never broken a law in your lives have absoltley no sympathy for this guy, and you think that only people like "you" should be allowed to have guns..., and your panties get all bunched up at the mere mention of gun control. But as a convicted felon myself, I have to tell you that I get a KICK out of watching the whole media circus unfold, and even though I am against any kind of gun control, theres a part of me that hopes that they take eveything from assult rifles to crossbows to super soakers. I was stripped of my God-given right (for those who believe in God) to defend myself. I cant even have a pocket knife because of a stupid mistake I made as a teenager MANY YEARS ago. If somebody breaks in my house with a weapon, I'm FUCKED. So in a way, I'm almost rooting for gun control---NOT because I think it will take guns out of the hands of psychos and dirtbags, but rather, because the way I see it, if pro-gun people won't stand up for ME, then I sure as hell won't stand up for them.

NO GUNS FOR ME THEN NO GUNS FOR YOU.

Of course being the horrible criminal I am, I'm going to do what I want anyway....right?

LOL!!!!

My state laws are different than federal laws when it comes to me possessing a weapon. As a felon, I can't even have shot gun shells in my home, legally. If I'm in a car with someone and that person has a gun in the car, even legally, I could find myself in trouble.

Fucked up thing is, I can go to a gun show next week and buy whatever the fuck I want, as long as it's from a private seller. No questions asked.

As for gun control, I'm pro gun and pro 2nd amendment. But fully automatic guns should be left to the military. And if you need more than 10 rounds in a clip to stop a home intruder, you should go back to the range. If I can't defend my home with a pump shotgun, I'm probably fucked anyway. Rant over.

Screw you Goth for getting me all worked up rigjt before bed. Lol

LOL....I used to live in your state and I can tell you they love their guns down there.
Liberals want to regulate EVERYTHING.

I cant relate to this. Having multiple felonies along with felon in possession getting a job is a fucking hit but can be done, I work for myself so not really an issue. Its funny all the gun control talks , lol like that's going to make a fucking difference , I see just how well gun free zones work out all the time , especially schools. Pure fiction of course.....if one was to come into my house there are numerous calibers he or she could get hit with and that's just on my wifes side of the bed =). There are numerous upstanding people that could vouch for me that im a totally different person these days , night and day, some of whom are government officials but it doesn't make a difference im still an ex gang banger criminal in their eyes and will never change. I tell people all the time I changed my life because I wanted too , not because I was forced or threated by a judge or the system , I also say the beast is asleep not dead so do not take my kindness for weakness because weak will not be what you find. Fucking joke the laws are to be totally honest , but ill keep living my life no skin off my balls.

LOL... I just had dinner with a lady friend of mine who is a member of the parole board in my state...one of only 9. I bought her lobster... just in case I have to call in a favor some day...:)

I always keep a box of dirt on my government friends =) Never know when it may come in handy.

I'm even nervous about using pepper anymore.
Everything is a weapon now...according to police.

I sure hope no judge in my state wants to consider my crossman 760 powermaster a firearm.
Shit, i'd have to pump it ten times just to put someones eye out.

7gothic's picture

LOL...well so far, only Minnesota has taken the plunge, but I wouldnt be surprised to other states follow suit.
Just think of all tthe 10 year old boys in Minnesota carrying Daisy "firearms" lol

My biggest fear is having old enemies know my business and planning an ambush while.i am asleep....i have nothing but my fists and a awake reaction of reflex which is not a focused mind upon arising...i dont even know how focused i would be if the door got kicked in, or if it would even register...

MedDx's picture

This is a good post...becuz there are times when people being attacked dont have time to call 911...a lot of variables to look at..

MedDx's picture

A felon in state of tx that has been off parole for 5 yrs can apply for a CHL, but that doesnt mean the felon will get a license...i believe i read this right a little over 3 yrs ago...have to look into again. And from what else i remember a person has the right to protect themselves in their house, especially at night. If that involves a gun, and a felon uses it and the gun is registered to them, then the max penalty would be 5 yrs, but not manslaughter. I met a felon dude who this happened to and he was threatened by an enemy at his door during the day. He told the dude to leave and he didnt leave. So, felon dude went and got his dads gun and shot him in the chest. He fell in the doorway and felon dude called 911. Felon dude did 5 flat and his charge was felon in possession of firearm.

7gothic's picture

" Felon dude did 5 flat and his charge was felon in possession of firearm."

And that's a shame, because it shouldnt have been anything at all provided he was defending against an intruder.

MedDx's picture

I know bro...sounds like we felons need a live in chef with a CHL...

Good points .
However , if someone breaking into your home with a weapon and you bash their brain in with a baseball bat that just happens to be lying around out of fear for your life , you're all good. Key being "officer I was in fear of my life and the life of my family."
And sorry to be the "I know it all," but actually someone robs a store with a fake gun, no weapons enhancement can be charged. It's just a straight robbery with force/fear, no gun enhancement

CAhardcore's picture

In CAli... There is a 10 year gun enhancement for committing any crime with a gun... BUT it HAS to be a real gun. You can still be charged with armed robbery , but without the gun enhancement the sentence would be the same as using a knife or other weapon
PC 12022.53, I'm not just talkin out my ass,lol

7gothic's picture

Out here, if you Rob a store with your hand in pocket threatening that it's actually a gun you will be charged with armed robbery.

Yep.... I don't know of any state where that wouldnt apply.

7gothic's picture

In my state, they have convicted 413 people over the past 5 years for robbery with gun specifications where either a fake gun was used or simply saying they had a gun but never showed one. Not sure about how other states operate.

Darkhorse777's picture

I agree i cant own a gun either im a non violent offender ie drugs ..how the fuck can they strip you of your right to bear arms ..if i cant then fuck it no one else should either

7gothic's picture

That's why I just do what I have to do.

...."'Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6"

:(. My ass is going to court on Monday. Because I refused to be a victim. The deal they offered me is 1-3 years

I was lucky when I got my felony I was still a juvenile and it was before it became stylish to charge children as adults. That being said all of us who possess steroids if we have a firearm will also face felony firearms charge. The prosecutors use this as a tool to force us to plead, since the firearms charge is worse than any possession charges. Even in states where marijuana, medical or otherwise is legal they still pull this card at every chance.

Goth was your felony a single felony, or more than one? If it was only a single you could surely have it expunged, but you know the score so I assume you have already looked into it.

7gothic's picture

My felony was extremely violent and I have no chance unfortunately.
Many regrets in my life.

Lilbear's picture

You should of not kicked the yorki

dothework29's picture

I hear ya goth. I can deffinently relate to this. I been 3 1/2 years clean and on a straight path but I still will never be able to have a gun to defend my family if someone breaks into my house. Now im deffinently not a little guy and I can whip some ass if I need to but what if the person breaking in has a knife or gun? There should be some kind of second chance thing for people who have turned their life around and stayed out of trouble for years.

7gothic's picture

GREAT point... If someone has gone straight then they should be restored full rights.... The state could put a time limit on it. But I doubt that will ever happen.
