FELONS FOR GUN CONTROL
In case any of you missed the story last week, a high court (and presumably a "high" judge) in Minnesota has ruled that a BB gun is now considered a firearm---believe it or not. And thats bad news for a man who was convicted of possessing a weapon as a convicted felon. He had previously had a felony conviction for drugs, and because he was driving a car that had a BB gun in the glove compartment, he was charged with possessing a weapon as a convicted felon. He appealed, and of course, like all convicted felons, he lost--- regardless of the facts or any sense of whats right and just.
And now, because of maggot politicians and public hysteria, any chance he may have had of getting a job, has now been crushed due to the fact that he now has a firearms conviction. I could understand if he was using the BB gun to rob a Quickie Mart. That wasnt the case here. And now, he will essentially be FORCED to resort to illegal activities in order to EVER scrape a living together, because he can forget about any job that doesnt involve a penis in his toothless mouth. He's now in prison for the next five years... apparently practicing.
Now I understand all of you fine upstanding citizens here on eroids who have never broken a law in your lives have absoltley no sympathy for this guy, and you think that only people like "you" should be allowed to have guns..., and your panties get all bunched up at the mere mention of gun control. But as a convicted felon myself, I have to tell you that I get a KICK out of watching the whole media circus unfold, and even though I am against any kind of gun control, theres a part of me that hopes that they take eveything from assult rifles to crossbows to super soakers. I was stripped of my God-given right (for those who believe in God) to defend myself. I cant even have a pocket knife because of a stupid mistake I made as a teenager MANY YEARS ago. If somebody breaks in my house with a weapon, I'm FUCKED. So in a way, I'm almost rooting for gun control---NOT because I think it will take guns out of the hands of psychos and dirtbags, but rather, because the way I see it, if pro-gun people won't stand up for ME, then I sure as hell won't stand up for them.
NO GUNS FOR ME THEN NO GUNS FOR YOU.
Of course being the horrible criminal I am, I'm going to do what I want anyway....right?

You are somewhat correct, yes the Germans would have been defeated by the Russians but probably five years later at the cost of a couple more million Russians. I believe for every soldier the US lost to Germany the Russians lost 80. The number is large, some of it was due to the Russians shitty fighting tactics. I also think the Russians kind of got what they deserved. Early on the Russians got in bed with Adolph with the The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. They planned on splitting the spoils of a new border between Germany and Russia. Unfortunately for them Hitler got too hungry and broke the pact. Lesson learned...never go to bed with Adolf.

It was absolutely the US who defeated the Japs and without US involvement we would have seen a full on communist Europe.
My Grandpa was very active in many major battles from Italy to D-day, to the battle of the bulge all the way to the clean up of a defeated Germany. I have a stack of his letters to home during the war and the clean up efforts are hilarious to read about. He hated dealing with the Russians almost as much as he hated delivering meat to the defeated Germans. He would make it a point to spit large gobs of tobacco on the German streets because the Germans absolutely hated that. Oh and he hated the Italians worse than both the Germans and the Russians he said they were the filthiest people he had ever seen. Lol.

You have Sunni, who hate Shia, who hate them back along with the Kurds and then a whole bunch of sub sects. Your situation is not all that unique I imagine either, a buddy of mine is a felon from 18-19 yrs old. Because of that he can't have a CCW permit, he is allowed to have long guns though so he makes up for it there. I feel badly for him and his situation, as well ad yours of course. With that said I hope you don't honestly feel that way about gun control. There IS a difference between felons and people who are just evil, anyone with common sense knows that, most gun advocates have a pretty good head on their shoulders and therefor recognize not all convicted felons are bad people. As a generalization from a gun advocate's standpoint you have to understand it's difficult to publicly support your type of situation though. Agenda-pushing liberals make up nearly 1/4 of the voting population and are told gun advocates are crazy as it is, if advocates were to start voicing that some felons should be allowed to CCW or whatever the whole argument would fall apart. Where non-liberals aren't cry babies or pushy with their own ideals Liberals lack the live and let live mentality, but liberals get their way through essentially whining about whatever they feel like. They dont need any more ammo to twist around.
For the good of the nation and it's future, as an upstanding citizen, you should show support for the 2nd amendment rights even though your state has fucked you. It's bigger than you and me, and more than just the right to own a firearm is riding on this.
PS, Check out one of the states that allows felons to get their gun right reinstated if you feel that strongly.

That tragedy landed on the wrong side of the statistics; Firearms are used 80x more in a self defence situation whether the gun is fired or not than they are in an assault where a firearm is used. Only the horrid killing stories make the news, and usually they are in a place where people are most likely to not be carrying so there is less of a chance for defence.
I'm confident someone who's willing to CCW is willing to protect the lives of others as well.
