+ 3 EBC IS A SUCCESS---MORE TO COME!!
Hats off to the guys who competed and finished the first EBC.
For those who did not finish, go back to the drawing board and see where things went wrong and find a solution. That's exactly what I'll be doing as I was one of the ones who ran into trouble---injury, a crash, and poor timing. The next EBC will be a short cycle---6-8 weeks in length, and will afford all of you another opportunity to show what you've got.
Please give us a few days to look over the results and get with our suppliers to determine prizes.
Also remember---we will be judging results based on the criteria that was posted in the initial EBC notice. This is cyberspace, so keep in mind we are going to approach this with common sense. If you don't know what I mean by that, then you may want to consult amongst yourselves to speculate. But lets just say I'm not a complete stupid-ass...I can spot bullshit from a fair distance---You know, like those ads in Muscular Development Magazine that the criminal supplement companies place in order to get you to buy their ineffective bullshit. That means if you went from a fat slob to an IFBB body in 12 weeks, you've pretty much assured yourself an honorable mention at best, but that's about it. I've been in the iron game for about 31 years now, and I know what can be done with and without steroids. I watched and trained guys for decades. Steroids are effective, but they aren't magic bullets, and we figure if if you look like an Olympic contender now, but looked like a Special Olympics contender 12 weeks ago, then bullshit is in the air. Nobody who gets into that kind of shape lets their self go that far in the other direction----they aren't cut from that mental mold.
Finally, this contest was about muscle building---- not fat loss. Fat loss is cool, but if you wanna good fat loss contest, tune into the "Biggest Loser" every Tuesday evening. The EBC is about the biggest gainer.

Total success
theirs some great transformation and alot of knowledge in eroids and i think this competition proved that, its bein a pleasure competing and i hope to compete against you all again in future ebc and try an catch up a little, these sort of things you can try and improve on every time and i think id be happy with improveing every time
I was just reading this whole thread and I struck me. Everyone who entered the EBC is aleeady a winner. Did you improve your physique? If yes then you have won. This has started to get very ugly the last few days and I am sure it wasn't in the original plan for that to happen. Guys the judging is out of your controll so there is no point getting all worked up about it. Does that mean I don't care if I win or loose NO. Of course I would love to win this but we have all done the hard work now so sit back and be happy for everyone that has done themselves proud. At the end of the day this whole idea was due to people never reviewing a SRC properly so Goth basicaly told us to put our money where our mouth is and show me that the gear from SRC blah blah is good. So the real winners of this are the community of ER as they ow know who's gear they can order. I have seen alot of jealousy here over the last few days. I don't think that is in the spirit of the comp. also just to mention something. If you have never dieted for a BB Comp you have no idea how hard that shit is and as such you should not really be trying to comment on this person cut up and that person did that. It's about how you transformed which leads me back to my first point. Everyone is a winner if they improved themselves.
^^^THIS!! Very well said
Well said.
The entire community benefits from the EBC, by showing us suppliers that provided effective gear.

I agree with everyone. The EBC was an awesome idea. Gave great motivation to take it to the next level. I am so glad I found eroids. It is the best, most informative site out there for guys like us (and girls!). Thanks BFG, Goth, all the mods, all the sources, everyone. Great competition, great website.
Was a fun journey and really gave me something to reach for on my first cycle. I made my diet my first priority and I believe it payed off.
LOL!!! we aren't penalizing anyone for losing fat. Losing fat can only help you. But if all you did was tighten up on your diet and hit the treadmill to lose 10 pounds of fat, then that tells us nothing about how good that Deca or test worked for you in terms of adding some beef.
phil113kgOh ok Goth, my bad, big misunderstanding on my part. I worked so hard and still working hard to do my best and sometimes can get lost in all that goes on around me. My apologies.
Lol! Those last few sentences made my day! Great contest...
Thanks alot goth for this opportunity.. I finally stuck with something..
And you looked damn good doing too Bro.
Thank you sir.. Means alot coming from guys like you who been involved with this for years .
.
Thanks for giving me this opportunity. This cycle was my biggest learning experiences ever. I now appreciate and have more respect for a diet. Honestly i never thought it was that big of a deal even tho everybody's preaches about diet this diet that i honestly never thought it was that serious until i got put on a pre-contest diet. I now have the most respect in what your diet can actually do. A pre-contest diet is no joke you will start losing energy and feel like Shit but that's part of the process, but if you stick to it i guarantee it will pay off, i have been on an eating binge since my last pic's and feel like a fat ass now lol. Anyways, good luck everybody
LOL....when you first came to eroids, you looked pathetic....I'm sorry Bro, but there's no nice way to say it. Now, you have turned it around 180 degrees and look awesome. I'm very impressed with what you and many other members have done during this contest.
Lmao and the funny thing is back then i though i looked good well not that good, i did start letting myself go also i did leave the gym scene for about 2 yrs prior to when i first signed up on here. My first cycle with lixus i thought at the time was a good transformation for me and that's when i didn't think dieting was that big of a deal, i just ate everything in sight. Like i said earlier, i now respect what dieting can actually do and will never underestimate what its capable of
Thanks for being awesome! I think all the guys who finished did great! Sorry you had troubles, but I know you will keep on keeping on! Also, thanks for taking care of this contest the way you guys did! Not getting too involved in the drama, but shutting it down when necessary! You guys couldn't have handled it better. I think at this point we are left with a lot of great guys who will support the judges 100%!
From what I understood, this comp was about the best transformation. So putting on muscle and losing a great amount of fat isn't anything that should be judjed negatively IMO.
But yeah I'm pretty certain your referring to the var guy. I guess we all better get on that stuff asap!
TxBigBoyI don't think fat loss will be judged negatively it just won't be judged at all. Honestly those guys that did have fat to lose did a great thing by losing it because now all the muscle they gained can stand alone.
Well lets take phil100kg for example; he mainly lost fat, because he is a competitive bodybuilder and needed to get ready for his comps.
Although he basically mainly lost fat, his transformation is still one of the best. If you take the fat loss component out, well, then, you know where I'm going with this...
phil113kgWhen I decided to do the EBC it was at a perfect time. I had the chance to show what hard work and dedication can do. Now I know personally that without the gear I would have never achieved what I have today. I have done a show naturally and boy do you loose muscle at a faster rate. But I am am a prime example of what certain compounds can do to actually spare muscle loss. I did gain muscle while loosing fat and water at the same time. I started at a weight of 105 kilos or something like that. Now I am at 93-94 kilos but shredded to the bone. So muscles were gained while fat fell off. This transformation was mainly for the comps and I saw an opportunity to do both this EBC and my prep. Sorry, I must have misunderstood the criteria of this whole thing. Certainly I can get up to 260 lbs. because I was there before my PCT and had some time off after that before jumping back on the band wagon. I am naturally big and have been blessed with out of this world gens. So for me I am super happy with what I have done while on the juice and will continue till my plans of reaching as high as I can get is done.
You have, without a doubt one of the best bodies here on eroids. I can't comment on where you are because I have seen only one or two post-photo submissions from other members----I want to wait until I can sit down and see them all. You may or may not be a winner, but I can tell you from just what I know that there are few, if any members who can touch what you have done in terms of accomplishments. Having said that, we will be making our decision based on what we feel was the most effective use of compounds from suppliers here on eroids.
phil113kgCool man, I am cool like ice. Thanks man.
TxBigBoyYou did excellent brother! Your what many of us are striving to become and your a great example of what can be achieved.
phil113kgThanks, that is comforting at this time cause it felt like someone kicked me in my gut and said step aside you are too cut. I just took the liberty of rereading the EBC intro page and it doesn't say anything about it not being a cutter or such. It did say that this is not about how buff you are blah blah blah. So man I am a bit confused to what is going on. I do know that the next one will be a cutter cause they didn't want anyone to be misinformed but clear unlike the forerunner. So I ask, wether someone is like me cut and big or someone big and not showing as much definition, what is the purpose of the contest? To show if the gear from a certain src is gtg or bunk. Pictures from start to finish should have the final say.
TxBigBoyOh I see exactly were your going with it. The thing is those guys that entered who were already very muscular were told they would have a hard time competeing because Goth specifically said this ISNT a cutter. This contest Is about Muscular Development through the use of steroids(as Goth just said). He even said that upcoming contests will be specifically cuttting contests, Which guys like me wouldnt have a chance in. Don't get me wrong Phil did amazing and he deserves to will all of his comps, but this contest wasn't about what he is trying to accomplish. IMO if you wanna talk about fat loss in this contest, Alphatiger did the best because he not only lost the necessary fat but gained plenty of muscle to be competetive.
Yeah.. Wow i guess this changes some things.. As far as judging... I should of stayed at 233.
TxBigBoyGood luck to everyone being judged! Sorry to hear about the issues you ran into Goth, I know you'll bring it hard next time.
