Extreme flushing
For the last month or two very so statically I have been having episodes of extreme flushing. It starts in my forehead and and ears and comes fast. My face and ears burn and feel so hot like I may catch on fire. Ten within a few minutes I have intensely bright red patches up and down my arms and chest and down my legs. It feels so intense I swear I could burst into flames. Lasts about 15 minutes then starts to go away. Lately it's becoming a lot more often. I have not changed anything in my life other than playing with my macros. I had pre cycle bloods down like ten days ago and yet all look normal.
Anyone else have this?
Anyone know what it is?
It's only pattern is it's usually not workout days and happens three or four hours post workout.
But it happens at other times some as well.

Niacin
Steveb I believe is on the right track here bud. Niacin is known to do exactly what your describing, same thing happens to me when I take it.. Go a day or two without (if you can) and see if you have the same reaction. Chances are you wont. Good luck keep us posted
StevebDo you take anything with a lot of Niacin? Like a preworkout or any other supplements? It sounds like you're describing a Niacin flush, some people get it really bad.
Go see the doctor anyway but I bet it is a reaction to Niacin. They put that stuff in everything.
I take niacin 500mg X2 a day and there is niacin in my pre workout. Currently using Mr. Hyde.
Why does it take so long to hit me? I am familiar with niacin flush, but didn't know if it could hut that long ingestion. If that's all it is then I have nothing to worry about, correct?
StevebI think it's just the Niacin, some people think they're dying when they take it because it affects them so bad. Stop taking anything with Niacin and see if you still get those sides. I think I built a tolerance to it, it used to get me bad but now I don't feel anything negative.
Hopefully it's just the Niacin because if not it could be something serious. And preworkout are just bad for you period. I can recommend a bunch of natural stuff that won't mess you up and has no Niacin.
I am interested in that info for sure. I take the niacin to help with my cholesterol. High cholesterol is hereditary to me. Not even my prescription helps it.
StevebI at the doctor's right now, I'll PM you when I get home later with that info. Something for the cholesterol too.
Thanks
