Contact lens help

ad

Thought I would try and gather some opinions. I have always used accuview 2 but on my last batch decided to switch to accuview oasis. The oasis's are supposed to be better lenses but so far they are very comfortable but don't last long. After a couple days they have been giving me blurry vision and feel like the have misshaped because of the way they stay on my eyes. The last two in the boxes have done fine of but one feels deformed now after 2 weeks. What contacts do you all like? I'm considering switching brands because of how crappy these have been. Or should I give them another shot?

I just cut out circles of plastic wrap dip them in petroleum jelly and stick them in my eyes. I'm that badass.

My oasis disposables....gotta be hand cleaned every few days. On cycle as water and bp changes...vision changes a bit. Plus you just finished pct? For me simple water bloat or bp can mess with them.

with the accuview 2's I could get 2 months out of a pair if I pushed it, but the 2 have my eyes good and irritated by the end of the day

I think it's just the lenses because I started on these two boxes around the beginning of that cycle and I felt like I have been flying through them. They are the right size and the right prescription. What do you mean hand cleaned?

Mine are soft...2 weekers but i do same as you and get more out of them. Put lens in palm...splash of norub cleaner and use fingertip to lightly rub on palm....flip n repeat. Gets the scratchy proteins off them. Same technique as the old ciba lenses.

I try with my fingers but don't have much luck with getting the protien off. I'm going to pick up the cleaner and give that a try.
