Body symetry
ad
I noticed that when I look at myself in the mirror I feel I don't look symmetrical. For instance one shoulder looks wider or one Bicep is bigger. On the other hand people say I look symmetrical. Is this just my mind screwing with me? What do you guys think about this?

My left pec is bigger than my right. And my right arm bigger than my left. Weird. Nobody sees it but me but still odd.
AnonI see variations from side to side. I think its pretty normal and hard for someone else to notice. I also think its hard to be perfect. Look at body builders , competitions can be won or lost by one competitor being slightly more symetrical.
I should add my traps do this sometimes and they have always evened out with time

dont look in the mirror too much. Its normal for a paired muscle is to grow faster or slower than its partner. It will even out. Pay attention to your grips and form?
Ya I figured that. The mind is a very powerful tool. I would say the tape measurer doesn't lie.
You're minds eye will screw with ya. You can measure everything monthly and chart success/loss.
I think we notice things about ourselves that others don't because we are looking harder. For instance my right trap is noticeably larger than my left, to me. My wife keeps saying she doesn't see it, until I start hassling her about it and then she says "maybe it is".
