I've got a large garden. Roughly .5 acres. I turned half of it into an apple and peach orchard. The other half I grow pretty much everything. Potatoes, peas, corn, carrots parsnips, beets, lettuce, tomatoes, squash's, various peppers. I love growing peppers. I've never grown ghost peppers but had a few Habenero plants.
There is something about gardening that kind of soothes the soul. Last year's garden was too damn big though. This year I scaled it back a bit so that I could stay on top of the weeds.

Get you a lil hydroponic room. A friend of mine who is a cable guy said he was over at this guys house the other day, and the guy offer to show him this room that light rolling out all the way around the door. He said no, if you show me I'm supposed to report you. The guy said c'mon, and had a huge room full of nothing but dif varieties of peppers, he gave him a gal ziplock of all differnet kinds. Pretty cool but I guess it cost him a couple thou in grow equip to grow peppers. He can grow tomatoes or anything I guess, but he likes peppers?

Also, here is the place that originally grew the bhut jolokia aka "ghost pepper" when it was first tested over 1 million scoville units as the worlds hottest before the butch t took over as worlds hottest pepper. They are a legit source for good bhut seeds too.

I am trying to learn more from my father. Both my parents are certified master gardeners. In my Dads garden, he has everything from a greenhouse full of tomatoes and other related plants ;), carrots, peas, potatoes, swiss chard, then plants he has grown from seeds, but he has a whole lot to do this on, so pretty fortunate. My mom sticks to strictly plants. Me though, I am wanting to carry on the legacy of homegrown tomatoes. My father is meticulous about the care of them. He spends at least 2 hours a day on them. I may have to fill out a fucking binder of his tips just for them lol. That and I would like to grow some rare cacti and other related things.

Believe it or not there seems to be a lot of scammers out there for hot pepper seeds. I got into researching how to grow them last year and ordered some seeds off of ebay. They ended up being a cross at best. This year I found a website like this ine, except for hot peppers. Lots of great info there. Anyway, I am growing the trinidad scorpion butch t and it is the real deal this year! Ghost peppers are childs play compared to these. I ordered from The Hippy Seed Company. They are a great company.
