+ 1 America's downfall!
I can go on and on about this. I'll try to keep it simple. Unions in America demanded a certain amount of wages varrying on there specific trade. Here is what happens tho, people overseas are willing to do the same labor for less $. So when a factory in america is hypothetically makng tennis shoes for $10 an hr at an avg rate with a cost of product at $7 an hr (textile plants in america were union as well) this becomes $17 an hour and overseas the same work can be outsourced and the same material can be made for a fraction of the cost cause they have no regulatory committees governing how much $ a certain profession is worth. Therefore the sweatshirt that costs $12 made in america to just be made costs us $20 on the shelf. Overseas, I bought sweatshirts $2 a piece, mailed them back... Shoes, Nikes the brand new ones $15-25. Here $150..... why are we broke? I'll tell ya greed. Sorry I just did my check book and I aint got as much as I feel I should, f'n $140 at the g'damn grocery story every week? I weigh 200lbs? I aint big. This f'n prick in front of me had nice cuts of red meat, a whole cart full of yummy name brand shit. Used a f'n link card. I have to work for a day and half to pay for what I eat I week, and these people dont do shit and eat better than me. Have a kid get welfare lay on ur ass is what america is promoting! I am hungry and bitchy sorry if I offended anyone, but if I did get ur ass off the couch and get a job.

alex is allowed to say all these bad things that are true about the people that really run the world because they let him ,and its too late.
we cant and wont be able to do anything but bend over and take it , so alex is used as way of telling us whats going to happen in the future. he works for them and poses as a hero but is really just their bullhorn telling us how they are fukin us and plan to fuck us hardr
its sad to think some people think obama runs the country and that their vote counted ,ha he was chosen and placed . biden was owed for all his years of doin as he was told and rewarded with the vp position. people that couldnt see that palin was mccains way of takin adive are gunna deny that ryan is romneys dive and obamas already said shit like i only have 8 years. yup hes gunna win again surprise
you dont get to these levels without fukin some people and guess what ? we are those people..
CleyonOMG... And here I am out there trying to convince people that steroid users are not weird idiotic people...
What are you saying
He's just one of the sheep who thinks our government would never to anything bad to us
CleyonNo, I'm a person that uses reason and logic in my life and doesn't jump on the scare train because I like haunted houses.
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_CWBTL33MpA#
cant deny the nwo plans when its from the horses mouth.
look at a couple vids down . this nwo speech was given on sept 11 1991
ten years to the day of their greatest planned deception ever.
i know deny it all cause its depressing and scarier than any haunted house.
on apositive note congrats on the new bike . please wear gloves . hands are first to go down in event some dumbass knocks ya off
Not a scare train brotha, I just like to be aware of possibilities. We're all entitled to our own opinions, however, I'd like to have a plan just incase. I'm not one of those people who think everything is a conspiracy, but the one world government has been in motion for a while and the rdif chips is part of obamas health care. If you feel comfortable being chipped by all means go ahead.
Sheeple these days man ignoranceis bliss, ill still stand up fight for the blind americans. Cleyon open your eyes, ears, and mind brother. we are not scared we are informed.
Lol "sheeple." yeah, I still got his back when shit happens. Glad to see other jarheads on board
Your lucky I love you
Hey whats up brother fr sent
Accepted
Oh shit im just going to watch
Honestly.. I dont care which side is in.. or out.. What irks me is the games and bs..
thats played on us.. the public.. I hated it when Newt turned the congress off and
we all sat there..Im pissed when the Rep sit there in congress and do nothing..
or when Bush was in office and nothing happened then either.. I dont like paying
these a-holes money and getting nothing done..( zero..).
I live in Indiana..( sucks to be me.)
and there are so many Rep from this state.. that live in these little areas ( Dan Burton, Dick Lugar,
Dan Coats, etc.) that .. Honestly.. anyone could beat these clowns and over take there seat in office..
If I had money and time.. I would LOVE to run against them.. the areas that they get elected from
are TINY.-- some dude almost beat Burton once- just by going door-to-door with a paper
and pen and having people sign on his ballot to be able to run.. he wound up with like
25% of the area voting for him.. did this on a nothing budget ,,, so it is possible to over take
these people and get change to happen..
i now step off the soap box...
lol....
Hey remember when Obama pledged to cut the deficit in half by Feb of 2009? Lol.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaQUU2ZL6D8&feature=player_embedded#!
But at least he made good on his promise to close Gitmo....Oh, wait.
and where was Bush on the moment 911 happened.. ?.. oh right ..
http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/schoolvideo.html
Lol. Got me on that one.
AnonAlthough he is certainly not going to come close to it, your statement seems to be wrong he said in his first term ,which he is still in. Not as you say by Feb 2009
Just curious ,do you want gitmo closed ?
No, I like Gitmo. Lol. I just thought I'd throw that out as a slight token of asshattery.
zewi"Just curious ,do you want gitmo closed ?"
No i just say bomb it..
Anonthat would be quick and easy !!! Case closed
Republican job creation - 25 Million..
Democrat job creation - 40+ million...
Fact.
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2012/sep/06/bill-clin...
zewiFact the most Jobs every created was under Clinton---Fact The house and the Senate were controlled by Republicans---(Only time in History Republicans controlled both.)
Fact: Obama has done nothing but wipe his ass with the American Flag, it's economy, it's constitution, and it's people.
Please someone post a fact on his job creation record.
Well..
2008.. Dow 6500
2012 .. Dow 13,200
2008 - Bush was losing 800.000 a month.
2012 - We have 100,000 new jobs this month.
Every job creation bill Obama throws at the congress.. they turn down..
cant get anything done if they ( rep) just sit there and decline..
iirc - Obama has created 4 million jobs so far. .( dont quote me)..
Rep congress - zero.
AnonIs there a thumbs up icon ?
Funny right, how the stock market is up, corporate profits are up, job creation although slow is on the rise, GM saved , yet people say things are worse ??? WTF they may not be all better yet, but youve got to be fairly obtuse to say they are not moving in the right direction.
Then theres the debt, yeah ok it is a problem, but almost any economist would tell you you can not address that problem till the economy is repaired. Addressing the debt with a weak newly recvovering economy would likely have very adverse reactions
Supernova283Dow 2007 (before Obama got elected) 14,000+ at peak
no kidding...yes.. I know..
but thats not where Bush wound up..
market crashed because of housing market and bad loans on homes..( no regs on banks and lenders)
that failed..( i.e. Country Wide Mortgage.)..
where we are now.. is WAY better in terms of where bush(2) left us.. were at 13K on the market and our housing
has not turned around yet.. Why would you want to give Romney and Co. a free pass
back to where we left the economy ?.. We'll wind up right where bush left off..
Id rather we ( the middle class ) get the break and f-Romney.. he pays less percentage
in taxes then you and I..
CleyonWhich party controlled the congress from 2006 till 2010? Which party held both the Executive Branch, and the Legislative Branch from 2008-2010 with VETO PROOF MAJORITIES?
You blame Bush for the Sub-prime lending crisis, when it was Dems who pushed it through, and repeatedly refused to have it investigated. Go ahead and vote for Jimmy Carter 2.0 again if you want. There's no chance I'm going to, he has said specifically that he wants to put my company (and hundred of others like mine) out of business. There is no way he will ever get a vote from me.
Actually.. I was Regan/ Bush 1 who did that with Alan Greenspan.. Regan/Bush got him to lower the regulations..
which led to all of this.. so you have to go back a bit..
Where did Obama say he wanted to put your company out of business..
and what do you do for a living ?.. You and the rest of us in here dont make
what Romney makes.. we make normal (hopefully at least .) livings.... Romney wont/isn't giving us a tax break.
Altho- he's going to get one..
Ill take the other guy.. Most people that vote Rep seem
to think that if its good for the up-end of the economy.. its good for the little guy..
doesn't work like that..
CleyonIIf you still doubt my ascertation on Obama trying to kill coal...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpTIhyMa-Nw
CleyonI work in the energy sector for a power company that runs, on top of other things, five coal plants. Obama told the San Francisco Chronical in an audio interview that was TAPED that he would bankrupt the coal industry. Any ideas how many jobs that would cost.
I see that you've bought into the class warfare rhetoric, but I like successful people. One day I want to achieve the level of success that Romney has. Would I get a tax-break under the Romney-Ryan plan? You bet your butt I would, and so would you. Would the millionars also get one? HELL YES! They pay the majority of the taxes! Why would we give a tax break to the people making $20,000/yr, they don't pay taxes.
If you believe that wealth is evil, then I feel sorry for you. You think that people making money isn't a good thing, then you don't really understand how the economy works. Rich people buy things, not just pay their bills. You get upset that they fly on private jets, does that mean you want Gulfstream, Cessna, and other executive aircraft manufacturers to go out of business? How many jobs would that cost? What about those expensive yachts they float around on? Should we tax them so they can't buy them? Then we can watch those companies go out of business, as well as all the supporting compaines like marinas.
Stop demonizing wealth. It's a poor man's mentality.
If you think your getting a tax break under Romney.. then I have some swamp land to sell you..
Only people making over $250K per year would be getting one.. I have no problem with money.
(i make a better then average income) and have made nearly $250K per year). my brother works
as Stock broker and writes for Reuters. (he sits on his ass and make $150-250 k every year).
I have friends who have Romney money so, I have no problem there either.
What i do have a problem with is Class warefare here in the usa.. Romney pays 14% on his income..
you and i pay 30% or so.. and if you think with him in your getting a tax break - your dreaming..
No coal plants are going out of work.. believe me.. if he did say what your saying..
then he had an idea on putting us (the usa) into something more "green".. i have
no problem with alt fuels. I have a friend of mine who sells solar panels for one
of the largest man. companies in the world. ( billions)..
I also have no problems with private jets either. one side of my family works in
that end things.( corporate private jet rental in NYC). .. anything else you want to
tell me ?
CleyonRomney is paying capital gains taxes on money that he already paid income tax on when he earned it, and then re-invested it. He shouldn't have to pay 30% on capital gains. The matter of fact I'd be in favor of lowering capital gains taxes to under 10%.
The facts are our current tax system is rediculously complicated, and unfair. We need to go to a flat tax (everyone pays the same percentage of tax) with no loopholes, or a national sales tax. Either one would be better than the punitive system we currently have.
Punishing success and saving is stupid no matter where you're from.
I do agree with you on the flat tax. And yes the new tax laws are pretty screwed up. I'd like to see inheritance tax go away.
and a few other things..Just got done with my accountant actually and have to see him tomorrow over my returns.
But I dont think that Romney gives a shit about the middle class in this country. Im more for things being more equal.
( good conversation btw !!!)..
CleyonIt is a good conversation! I have to ask why you think Obama cares about us little people more than Romney does? I have known the Romney family for years, his cousin lived near me until he moved last year. I have only met Mitt three or four times, but he's never been anything less than nice. The whole family is almost too good to be true, but I've been close enough to know that they are the real deal. I think that's what screws everybody up.
The flat tax doesnt make much sense to me. Some may argue our tax bracket system to be the most progressive way to tax the public. We dont tax the poor. The top 20 percent pays 55% of the nations taxes. Roughly 50 percent of the country pays no federal taxes at all because they are deemed too poor.Do we make exceptionswith a flat tax? for the elderly or the poor? The tax code imo should be simplified, but not eliminated. With the flat tax the rich are taxed less, the poor are taxed more. And now we must grow the IRS to try and collect taxes from 50% more people. And were talking about collectig taxes from the poor...so we would be using the IRS to track down pennies. ??
Supernova283pennies add up bro.
50% of 300,000,000 (three hundred million) is 150 million. If you get them to pay just one dollar of taxes a year we'd be creating 150 million dollars in revenue.
CleyonYou definitely raised the questions that most have, but if you read any of the "Flat Tax" proposals you will see that there is a tac rebate for people below a certain income range (I've seen numbers from $15k-$25k). As to adding MORE IRS agents, how do you figure that? You'd need less than a third. You wouldn't need to have them trained to look for microscopic loopholes in the tax code, and audits would be as simple as I made $100,000, and I paid $20,000. Case closed! Do you know how long an audit currently takes? Well, I've been being audited for 4 out of the past 6 years. None of them have taken less than 12 weeks.
All that being said, I'd preffer what's called the "Fair Tax". What is this you say? It's a national sales tax. Instead of taxing productivity (i.e. working) we would be taxing spending. Something that is completely voluntary. And like most state sales taxed, we would not tax necessities (food, toiletries, ect) and there would be a weekend each year that is tax free. That would encourage savings, and really limit the scope of the IRS since they would only be collecting taxes from businesses.
That "fair tax" sounds awesome. Thankyou for the correction as well. Would some items be taxed more than others? I could see great potential with a fair tax. Id imagine that with the changing markets a fair tax might have to be often adjusted however. And companies and corparations would be deeper in the pockets of politicians.
CleyonIdeally no, we would NOT tax some items more than others, that's just a recipe for corruption. Part of the fairtax proposal is essentially that it can never rise above 24%, and it must replace the income tax.
If it was able to be leveraged against one industry or another I would be completely against it.
CleyonFact Housing bubble popping was directly due to Dodd-Frank, and the sub-prime lending that they required to "help" poor people. You know the same people that are now on the street because they couldn't afford the houses that Dodd-Frank allowed them to purchase.
AnonNot entirely, the housing crash is often atributed to the repeal of the Glass Stiegle act. Repealed under Clinton, but still an act of financial deregulation.
CleyonTrue, it's the long term effect. However you have to give Barney Frank, and Chris Dodd the credit for what they did to make damn sure it went down the way it did.
AnonWell I have to admit that I tried reading through, and about Dodd Frank and my head started to spin. I will say however that these things are not always quite so cut and dry as some would portray them good or bad.
Ultimately the complexity of these bills, (which is in its self a huge flaw) ends up leaving me and Im sure many others not really understanding what its entirely about.

zewiFucking tell you this.. If I (uncle zewi) was president America would be good to go.
CleyonI'd be your sec-def, we'd get shit done!
Probably the saddest thing is that the right and the left are to blame in many ways for the state of the US today. At least in times past at least some political force was interested in doing something resolute. It feels now that the only thing that is happening is people are power grabbing to get a piece before the whole thing goes down. Recklessly spending money that fund their political support. Its sad to say but we need something drastic to happen. Look at people in countries where you're never guaranteed that when you start your day you'll live to see the end of it. Those places spawn some hard motherf*ckers. We bitch if we have to wait more than 5 min in a McDonalds line.
