Accident

So I got in a motorcycle accident the other day and I don't know why but it made me kind of depressed for two days and I'm just starting to come back around, I don't know if I was just shocked but I'm On and it didn't even feel like it. I'm fine from the acc just a little bruised luckily but i think it was just a humbling experience maybe but I felt like shit and actually started questioning the quality of the gear when it's been awesome before it..I'm starting to feel better and libido coming back so that's good. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this? I was fine to workout yesterday and didn't even lift when I always do specific muscle groups spec days and I just didn't feel like it..

PandoraI can relate. I went down Sunday 9/11 last year. I wasn't on any AAS at the time. The sound of the grinding metal on the asphalt is a noise I still hear. While skidding down the hwy, I was waiting for everything to go black. Wondered how my kids were going take the news. They say your life flashes before your eyes. I was damn lucky. After my bike stopped, I had help picking her up since she weighs in at 750#. When Hwy patrol left, I road her home another 3 hours.
Everyone is different after a wreck, whether our fault or not. I rode my other bike to and from work that very same week. I was nervous and uneasy, but did it anyway. By that Friday, I felt good again. Some may disagree and think that was not safe/smart. But it worked for ME. The old cliche`, "time heals" is what you most likely are working with. Everybody has there own healing schedule. I have gotten spooked since then and you may too. Just part of the mental healing process. I believe this has given me a heightened sense of awareness when I get on my bike.
I won't stop riding. Bikers have to be 5x as alert as the cager's. A bike will always lose to a car. To me, riding is like playing chess. I am calculating every car, truck, bicycle, pedestrian, dogs, road kill etc while riding. Be safe and keep the rubber side down
No doubt bro, I hear bad stories and I think I'm gna just sell cause you right Abby most of the time it's not our fault.
AnonDamn Mopeds !!!

AnonLost 4 links off my primary chain and took the entire clutch basket with it.....smoking the tire on a 900lbs moped with 225 of Dr. onboard causes shit to break.
