Aging Superstar

Hey guys I'm 49 and feeling over the hill. My doctor looks at me compasionately, then writes me a script for Naprosyn and kicks me out the door. Asked to have my T checked and it came back 280. Writes me a script for Testosterone Cypionate 1ml a month. I'm not a genius, but that doesn't seem like enough, and from what I read is pretty damned useless, even counterproductive. So, here I am, needing help from you guys. Low T clinics are way out of my ball park financially, so I'm just looking for different options. Thanks for any advice.

1 ml a month? What a sorry excuse for a doctor.. Take out where you're from.. this is an anonymous site.. like ref suggested you'll find tons of info in the TRT section of the forums.. at the least we'd pin cyp once a WEEK not month at a lower dose than 1 ml obviously

Fixed, sorry about that. Yeah, 1ml helped a little, for a few days, then it's back to the doldrums. I need to get on this problem, because I'm feeling crappily.

That's way to long... yes and counter productive.. I'd say get all the information you can and show it to your doctor MAYBE he will change it to pinning you once a week.. maybe every two weeks.. you want to try to do this with a doctor watching you.. the last resort should be doing trt yourself

I'm trying to find a new doc, as my present one doesn't want to mess with it at all. My labs came back at 330 total, and he thinks that's dandy. Trying to get treatment at VA, but their guidelines are harsher than the family doc.

I honestly hate the VA.. they don't do shit to help vets and drag everything out as much as possible.. well I suppose it's all about which VA you go to.. maybe you'll have luck and find a competent doctor
