Your take on the "Abdominal Bulge" (Advice needed)
ad
Have done some checking up on it but have seen so much speculation on as the actual cause. Just finished my first workout with a new personal trainer (that was a abdominal bulge himself). And i just wanted to see what your views are on the cause of this, being genetic or too much core work, as im leaning towards more of having clear cut abs without the impregnated look if you know what i mean... As i see quite a few people have. My major goals are lean cut and not massive bulking, let me know what really works for you and how to prevent this. Any feedback is great, thanks.

Okay same here as far as the ways my abs look day and night. The reason the look different a night is because your abs are distended from eating through out the day. It's gas even though it may not be uncomfortable. Proteins make you gassy(I'm not talking about only farting). I guess you could take a anti gas pill(I don't) if it really bothers you. The reason they look so different in the morning is because the distention is gone. The way ingot my abs is doing sit-ups on a decline bench( as close to the ground as it will go) and when I wanted size I just put plates on my chest. At one point I didn't work-out for a year and a half and never lost my abs. I eat very lean foods.
AnonDont be an Olympic weight lifter, seems like they always have a big gut. Strong bastards though.
i wake everyday with a clean visible 6 pack. i go to bed looking 6 months pregnant. for me its how much i eat and my carb intake. i should eat less and have more meals and cut my carbs. but im on a bulk so it dont matter right now
I notice that also, when I wake up in the morning and look at myself in the mirror before a shower, my stomach is flat, and I look more vascular. By the end of the night my belly is sticking out and I have a fuller, smooth look around my body.
i hate it!! dont you?? i wish i could walk around looking like i do in the morning. but if i dont eat i think id go insane from the hunger lol
That look is mainly due to igf-1/hgh abuse. There are a lot of igf-1 receptors in the large intestines. While a little igf-1 goes a long way toward muscular hyperplasia, too much for too long will lead to the pregnant look. That coupled with a ridiculous food intake. The majority of people who have this distention have used too much igf-1 or GH.
Not getting at you but that's inaccurate.
You're not getting at me at all, and what I stated is completely accurate. You can spend 2 minutes searching this on google and come across many different studies on nearly every mammal including humans. The orignal poster referred to an 'impregnated' look. IGF-1 /HGH / Insulin are the greatest factors to that impregnated look that you see many of today's top professional bodybuilders sporting.
Not refuting that food intake doesn't cause some abdominal distention throughout the day, but what I stated is the reason for abdominal growth in bodybuilders. Please do a little research before using a blanket statement of inaccuracy.

WithdrawlI totally agree with this. Just finished my first run of IGF-1 and I think I went too high a dose for my first time. Definitely gained some gut girth. Fortunately it has returned to almost normal after a week off it. I can easily see how long term abuse could cause that pregnant look, especialy combined with HGH.
Thanks for the info, btw nice build you got.
How to prevent this:
*Don't take Deca or DBOL
*Don't eat like you're at a 7 year olds birthday party (pizza, burgers, chicken nuggets, ice cream)
*Do cardio
All noted, great advice. Thanks
IMO, most cases of that bulge are caused by always being full of food... No eat no big... If you want to avoid the bulge, my advice is a lot of small meals w/ carbs limited...
Thanks for the info man, will do.
