Is drinking 2 gallons of water a day too much?

ad

I was watching a video with "yo Elliot" from strength camp and he was talking about this weird 7 day extreme fast loss water/lean meat cleanse. 2 gallons of water each day for the first 3 days, it sounds a bit extreme, i'd have to be choking down some of the water. Also being only 5'8" and around 165lbs with 16-20% bodyfat (not accurate because i haven't done any tests besides a caliper). Let me know if any of you guys think its a bit too much water for me, thanks.

Forgot to mention iv also added in some Animal Cuts to this 7 day cut, not sure if the diuretics in it will assist me in any way.

Everything written below is all you need to hear on this issue. Research into water ratio balance with vitamins & electrolytes. You will be glad you did until then you should not even think of touching diuretics brother.

I guess it may be wise to drop about a half or quarter of a gallon then, great input! thanks guys

Google hyponatremia and see how dangerous it can be. The military quit doing force hydration after killing a few soldiers around 99-00. Everything must be in balance and too much water causes electrolyte disturbances.

Over the corse of a day I drink close to that. If you drank 2 gallons in a short period of time it can be dangerous. You'll flush the electrolytes out if your body.

I'm going for about 17fl OZ per hour, roughly from 6am-9pm. So it may be a little over 2 gallons but i should still be alright then. Thanks for the info man
