+ 1 When is performance enhancing illegal?

ad

Because I like a good debate, I am gonna start one. I have a thought process that every thing we do is performance enhancing, if it be protein shakes or whatever. Everything we use or eat is performance enhancing. So where do we say it is ok or "cheating"? If a person gets older and needs glasses to enhance their vision is that not performance enhancing? But they can't take testosterone as their levels drop? A person is allowed to have shots in their joints so they can continue to compete to get rid of pain, but they can't have injections to heal faster? Isn't all of this performance enhancing? I am all for someone getting better, and I say let them take whatever to be better athletes. We all want to see world record be broken, might as well be the best athletes taken the best stuff to be the best.

You'd be surprised how many designer roids/research chemicals are coming out on the market these days to get around loop holes. Names you will never hear of before and they will sell them in supplement stores in plain sight. As they are classed as legal school kids could buy them straight from the stores.

They will always reference them to the steroid they are trying to mimic,.

I've always seen some of these guy's ability to handle humongous doses of gear that would quite simply put us in Hospital and halfway to the morgue as kind of a talent in itself. It seems no coincidence that these Genetically blessed monsters seem to be able to train and live day to day on grams and grams of gear, HGH and the rest. I've never been one to say 'Oh well the only reason he can bench 600 and I can't is because he does X grams of Tren and half a gram of Adrol' - I appreciate they can tolerate it till the cows come home (somehow Lol) and I never could. I love seeing the boundaries of Muscle machines on the Olympia stage and Monstrous strength WR's being pushed each year, you just have to accept this sport is massively drug dependent together with who has the ability to force feed every damn meal! LOL Everybody is responsible for their own actions and decisions and what they choose to put into their bodies.

Genetic strength always fascinates me, just seeing the amount weight theses guys move.
I can build only so much strength and then my joints and bones can not take anymore.

John Haack is a true example of this - He got very far just by himself, then went to SARM's and now to Roids. Now he is just Untouchable!! A F'kin M.A.C.H.I.N.E.

there is a difference, wearing glasses wont give you xray vision, cortisone shots aren't cheating either because it doesn't make your legs sprint faster.

Could you honestly imagine a sport that condones ped's of any kind? How many deaths from overdoses from amphetamines or guys walking around with tits like Dolly Parton on 5 grams of test? Would it be considered sport at that point? I'm against drugs in sports because of the simple fact it is no longer a test of the human body but a test of how much drugs you can take without keeling over. Its like the mr olympia and universe now, That is just way too much muscle.

I like your comment...but...have a 100mph fast ball coming at your face and your body naturally has poor vision. I think corrective glasses/contacts would be performance enhancing. If I was able to give you a shot that would give you 20/20 vision, would that be ok?
As a guy who blew out his knee at age 20, with 4 surgeries, I would say cortisone is a PED. It takes the pain away and allows me to do things I couldn't before. I am not setting world records by any means, but I can run faster and workout harder because the pain is gone.

When u get caught... Duh... Just look at China's gold medal count, if u aint first your last!! Merica fuck yea!!
I heard alot of chinese athletes tested positive for sarms or gw after the testing advanced... But was it too late? Idk..
If it boosts the countries moral then they'll always cheat...
Maybe in an honest competition where nobody stands to profit or has an agenda... I think if it's an agreement amongst men to be clean and u betray that agreement then your a weasel... But as long as there is something material to gain itll never be fair.. Some people just don't have any shame!

When the ruling body over the "competition" (whatever it is) says so via their governing rules and judges.
