So here i am counting all my gear and planning my next cycle with all my gear. And what the hell do I get...I wake up this morning to my coffee brewing waiting for me to pour a cup....and I can't smell shit! So...I decide it is best to go get tested. And of course my luck, I am fucking positive for covid! FUCK COVID!....That is all!

I lived! It sucked ass, but I made it. Slept a lot, and rewatched GoT with the wife. ( It is a good rewatch, catch a lot of little things that foretell things to come)
I am doing all right. Just really tired and sleeping a lot. Lost of taste and smell is pretty weird. At least I can catch up on some shows I been meaning to watch.
So how do you feel about the Vaccine now this has happened?
I am good with it. I would take it again.
"Janus", huh? I take it you've seen the TV series called "Utopia" from 2013? Funny. I recommend giving it a watch. The entire plot pertains to a vaccine and a manufactured pandemic. Take note of the symbol in the corner of the room on the ceiling during this pivotal scene. It's all just fiction though...

The show was also revamped and remade for the US in 2020 with John Cusack:

I just finished watching the series, and your name caught my attention. Funny coincidence.
Funny coincidence. My name is from the Greek God...Janus....I like the "God of Transition" part.

Xrploli was preparing for a competition and 6 days out i got covid had to cancel my competition
Couldn't even enjoy the food after a hard diet
Can't smell or taste anything
I lost my sense of taste once when I had the Flu - completely takes away the enjoyment of food and the satisfaction of it. Its amazing some of the simple things we take for granted until you lose them!
I didn't fully lose my taste, instead everything tasted the same, coffee was the worst. For me it was like a sulfur taste and smell. I just tried to stick to bland foods and lots of water. Can't drink enough water, flush that system, kidneys are working right now.
Get well soon brother.
RustyhookerOk....so in 2 weeks youll be strong af and ready to rumble
AnonIf you feel ok you could still lift without the gear though, some people have almost no issues as I’m sure you know.
How are you feeling?
The Big question - were you vaccinated? ....
Just checked my post - You were too!!! Both injections ....... Shit WTF
KickinhardHave you had your vaccine? Ive not had mine. I was booked to get it but i ended up with a bad flu and chest infection lasted fucking ages!! Tried to get one after that and all the gps had stopped doing them, then I heard all the info bout the vacine and ive been too scared to get it now!! My mrs hasbhad both hers shes a nurse in the hospital.
I've only had the first so far - due the second at the end of this month. I put it off like you as I too started to hear the horror stories of people being ill off it for a week and having to take time off work etc. Kept going online to book it then talking myself out of it even though I knew I should have it. Then a good friend of mine who works in a Hospital connecting people to these end of life machines where they track your throat, and oxygenise your blood because you can no longer breathe unassisted because your heart and lungs have packed in - started showing me pictures of people on these things because of Covid - Well I don't think you've ever seen anyone book into the first possible local covid vaccine appointment faster than I did that night Pal!!!! 8am the very next morning I was there getting poked LOL Got the Pfizer one. For the next 2 or 3 days I felt slightly jaded and removed mentally that was all. No sickness or fever or tiredness. BUT what I did feel as Greg was correct on was the next training session I had I felt awful mate - knackered after every set and sicky. I would say if you can leave it 3 or 4 days after the jab till you train as your body is fighting the vaccine and not the next day like I did lol. Go for it mate - Get it done is what I say, why risk it.
KickinhardI know im gonna get it, i know the virus is real and all differnt strains and variants coming out. Im gonna go the local hospital on monday and get it monday morning. They've just started up again. Im getting the phizer one aswell. Like u say its not worth it to not get it done and some protection at least.
Ive heard horror stories from the mrs aswellbwhen shes had to cover the covid wards she says its horrific and an eye-opener.
Trust me I don't want to start a debate on the vaccine here because it is NOT the place but I had an idea. I think they made a mistake calling it a vaccine because many then assume it prevents you from getting covid like many other vaccines do. However, it doesn't prevent you from getting Covid. It supposed to prevent you from getting it really bad and dying similar to the Flu Shot so my idea is they should have called it the Covid Shot not the Covid Vaccine to eliminate some of that confusion. But they didn't ask me.
It'll be interesting to hear how badly he has had it when he resurfaces as in theory it should have been milder with having the shots!
AnonI hope you know this and I think you do, don't start that cycle until you get better. Stay strong and healthy.
You'll be dead soon... no point in letting that gear go to waste. PM me for details and I can take that off your hands for you.
My condolences to your family.
