+ 10 The 10 eroid/gear commandments

ad

Was thinking this might be a good topic for gear usage and how to use this sight correctly. I'll put in a couple and maybe some vets as well as any members can decide what and numerically where each should be in the 10 commandments. Mine are, what you eat determines what you will get out of a cycle. More is not necessarily better. Have a solid natural foundation before introducing AAS to your body. Everyone's input is welcomed to come up with a factual list of 10 donts and do's pertaining to gear and using this sight. Or maybe split it and have 10 concerning steroids and a separate 10 using this sight correctly. Who knows...Im confident with all of the very knowledgeable guys and gals here this can be golden...EDIT:maybe the 10 commandments are hypothetical as there are great points being touched on. Maybe you've heard them before maybe you haven't. Just because you might have doesn't mean its not vital to reboot what you already may know and keep it in the forefront. Keep the points coming!

Gang, it seems that younger eyes don't understand the simple timeless fundamentals that the rest of us have had to learn over our own years of living.

Building muscle is always the same forumula.

  1. Lift smart.
  2. Eat well.
  3. Get enough rest to recover, & get your sleep.
  4. Rinse, lather & repeat (aka- BE CONSISTENT.)

For #1, you gotta be smart. Mix it up. Do subsequent 8 week programs that cause "muscle confusion." You'll adapt, grow, and not be bored doing it. However, you can't build muscle going for long leisurely walks on the beach. A person HAS TO DO RESISTANCE TRAINING TO BUILD MUSCLE.

Regarding #2, FOOD : AAS doesn't help with this. There are three pages of comments below mine to solidify that premise.

Of course #3 is timeless. Stress kills strength, and sleeplessness makes for a shitty existence. (Just ask any parent about the first six months of having a newborn. It can be misery.) You gotta rest and get good sleep.

For consistency, #4, gotta do it, week in, week out. If you fast for a day here or there, you won't lose all your gains and starve to death. If you miss a workout here or there, you won't come back a day later and have lost your ability to bench. If you get shitty sleep one night, you won't shrivel up and die (although it can feel like it!). However, WANNA BUILD MUSCLE? GOTTA BE CONSISTENT WITH LIFTING, DIET & REST.

Eroids has been incredible for me, friends. I'm glad I can contribute, and I hope my words inspire future readers to be smart, stay patient, be positive and build the life they want and deserve. All of your words here have helped me more than I can ever share. I am grateful. Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta get to the gym. Squats aren't gonna do themselves (although I wish they would sometimes!).

We all have a hand in voicing our experiences brother. This post as well as so many others hold valuable info if one is keen on learning. Knuckles for being receptive in a positive manner!

There was a guy called Vasily Alekseyev. In 1970 at the World Weightlifting Championship he became the first man to clean and jerk over 500lbs. Many had managed to reach 499.5lbs but nobody could for years. A few months later several others had surpassed this figure.

Why? In the words of R Kelly "my mind is telling me no, but my body, my body is telling me yes". Allegedly that was not the only time R Kelly had had that problem.

But the point is, the body is controlled by your mind. You are capable of more than you think. I first deadlifted 230kg by mistake when I added up the plates wrong and thought I was doing 210kg. The first time I hit 280kg (I also lower the bar, don't drop as that half a lift) I got the second rep. Why? Cos I could.

Several injuries have cost me my glory days and that's point 2. Warm up. I partially tore ligaments from my spine (have bulge thought was hernia on one side where muscle compensated for it) as I was doing 280kg deadlifts for reps. Usually did 60,100,140,180,220,250,280. That day I thought I knew better. 6th rep of 200kg and I was on my way to hospital.

Listen to people. Not karma, people. Don't take anything as gospel. Ignore what I've said if you think it's crap, that's fine. Learn, read everything you can.

Above all, fucking eat before you say your steroids are bunk. Don't expect to buy a supercar, get it fine tuned etc and then run it on empty.

Karma does have it's place, some of the high karma guys have great advice, some have higher due to numerous funny posts and photos of each order. But most importantly find out what works for you. You are not the same as me, you're probably not Ronnie Coleman (sorry big guy if you're a member and you read this). I'm short as fuck so I can do heavier weights than a 6ft 4 guy on most occasions due to leverage. Will he look better, probably lol. I'm only moving the bar a few inches lol.

Lastly, do your best. Eat well, train hard, sleep when you can lol and the gear will help you recover quicker. All the best!

Amen brother! Attack each day lifting with an unbreakable determination to be the baddest monster YOU can be!

bolt781's picture

Read between the lines. You can "spot" a youngster asking cycle questions through attitude, if they are immediately defensive and through choice of words. No matter what their age states...theres alot of "25" year olds I see newly joined...

coolcat's picture

im 27 in 2 weeks but it doesnt mean all of us youngsters dont know what we are doing bro or talking about. its knowledge at the end of the day and it can be acquired young and old it just depends when you start that particular journey. not having a dig at you at all but i see a lot of people writing off the youngsters in this forum and some may have lots to offer. hell most doctors in ER rooms are in there mid twenties now a days and they sure know what there doing bro and save a lot of lives no doubt.

bolt781's picture

No worries brother speak your truth! I was referring to guys not actually being "25". Alot of times once the b.s. is weeded out on these posted cycles the truth ends up being they are in their teens. They realize the rule here is no cycle advice to anyone younger than 25 and quickly change their age. I think it is in a teens best interest to be written of pertaining to gear usage. Keep smashin on them weights bro...knuckles!

coolcat's picture

good guy thanks for the respectful reply and i get what your saying. im sure there are those kinda people here that lie about there age. i dont get it myself though why not just be honest in the first place how hard is that ? i know the 25 thing and its there for a reason i still bounce back to a decent test level off cycle with proper pct but then again i keep doses low and test only.i built my base from lifting with my dad from the age of 16 and im on my third cycle now 4 weeks in total 100mg of prop EOD. i never touched steroids till i was almost 26 and i have the same time on as off 8 weeks. if i dont see the gains ive seen in the 2 previous cycles i will cut it short and call it a day and lift natural from now on because im sure with a natural test level of around 800 (at least my last blood work showed that) i can still make gains anyway without all this. bolt looking through what you have wrote u are a clever guy in more ways than one. keep that bar bending or your just you know it bro)

bolt781's picture

Longevity and health is a huge factor! Awesome to hear you have those aspects in line! Being you started lifting at such a young age I bet you've acquired that passion for it! You're humble attitude is apparent which is a plus imo. No rush...we have years and years of gains to come!

bolt781's picture

Bump...any new ideas?

The Impastable's picture

As plenty of people have said:

Eat to grow. But also grow to eat. Many people finally nail a diet down and then complain weeks later when their gains have halted, because they are not growing to eat! Growing in size means you need more to sustain that growth, so constantly re-evaluating your diet is something that can't be stressed enough, yet often never gets addressed.

bolt781's picture

Most definitely! Bigger engine...more fuel!

zeb0312's picture

Correct get all you can put if eating and your natural natty levels and rememeber genetics has alot to do with it as well. Don't do aas just to walk around and say look how big I am and I'm a bad ass do it for your health. I see these young kids around the gym walking around think there bad ass and the shit because they juice not realizing there just hurting them self down the road. Hard headed little shit heads won't listen.

bolt781's picture

Most of them will find that they haven't truly developed a passion and love for lifting. They do it for the vanity of it. To be big. To get compliments. A means to an end. The day will come where they stop lifting as they haven't become one with the actual process of lifting. All those cycles and stress put on the body will be for nothing. My advice is determine whether or not you actually love lifting. If you think about it day in day out. If you actually enjoy the physical process of it. Not just blindly using it to get to point b. Because the lifting aspect...should be the point b. That should be the part you love most. The muscle growth should just be a side effect. If you aren't 100% into pressing pulling curling weight, then there is no reason to use gear. The gains you achieve while on gear will disappear when you quit lifting.

zeb0312's picture

Yea I started out exercise for my health I use to be a slob and weighed 275 pounds I diet and cardio got down to 190 then start weight lifting alot and seen what a chenge my body made and I said Shit I like this got stronger tons of complements and stares it I still knew my place I didn't want to be Mr. O and I knew I didn't have the genetics for that. I just want to be the best me I can be in life and as a person period.

bolt781's picture

Amen to that last part!

ironcarpenter52's picture

Just a question and not being a dick. So when you first started, why did you choose so. I think yes in the beginning people due it for the compliments for the vanity. For the sake of them being looked down upon. Everyone starts for a different reason. And if they are truly dedicated it stays with them. Again not being sarcastic. Just would to like to know why you started

bolt781's picture

No worries brother...it does say briefly on my profile. But I use to race motocross...I slept ate drank and slept motocross. Friend I traveled with broke his back during practice...becoming quadriplegic. That ends it all...practice track mowed down...bikes sold. I needed something that engaged me 100% after that. Bought a bowflex haha...bought a bench with some weight, and so on. Something clicked immediately. The same feeling I had from racing. My addiction graduated rapidly just as it did with motocross. Didn't care what effects it had didn't know a thing about nutrition let alone AAS. Just wants to lift...every fucking day...lift! Fast forward a bit to buying my first protein. Fast forward a lil bit more to being sold on a pill that will make your lifting much better. That will make you strong. Ok more strength sounded cool...I can lift more! Those pills were methylated "designer steroids" basically roids. I had no clue...I was young dumb and full of cum. That opened the gates of stupidity for me at that time. My obsession with lifting mixed with AAS was not ideal to say the least. I slammed anything and everything because ofcourse it heightened the pleasure of lifting! Fast forward to trt because of my actions. Now I'm left with pinning fkn test for life. Its OLD! So yea I throw in a compound with it here and there...I have to pin anyway. But from the beginning being big, or any of that was not the reason I started. To this day, everyday, I obsess about my workout. Call me a functioning junkie. I have a wife, life, job, home, but inside I'm cheatin on them all with the love of lifting.

ironcarpenter52's picture

Good shit. I myself can can addicted to things quik. I started for the fact of wanting to be healthy. It has improved my well being tremendously. Guess it takes a divorce to actually look at your self and realize you got to take care of number one first. Don't get me wrong ill take the compliments but what I love the most is looking and feeling healthy. Because I know none of us were born and slapped on the ass and told you are going to use roids and you will be huge. It a matter of wanting to do good with your life.mentally and physically. Thanks man

bolt781's picture

Anytime brother! And good shit right back at ya!

As you get bigger and add more muscle mass you must also up your calorie intake to support the new mass and obtain it. To continue to stay big you have a commitment to keep eating big.

For me it's build that base first by learning the power of diet and nutrition and how this can be effectively used to do so. Once you understand how diet/food and its application influences your individual body composition (combined with effective training of course) and you've bulked and cut and bulked etc. natty then AAS use may be appropriate.

Thou shalt re read what Med just scribed in stone! Let it sink in...be comfortable with waiting. Its pointless not to be...you have no control after you submit a payment. Let go and be free lol

bolt781's picture

Exactly..this ties in with priorities. There is more to life than gear. Not lifting! I said gear lol. Dont let financial responsibilities take a backseat just to get an order in. Great advice brother I know I have almost put off a bill to get in on a promo...luckily past fuckups slapped my face and said NO! You dumb asshole! Its humbling to be humble nowadays...

PIN_CUSHION's picture

I would say just educate yourself in every way possible. I've read the profiles for most AAS whether I intend to use them or not. I want to know the affects it has on the body, the sides associated with it, what to do to manage those sides. Same with A/I's and PCT drugs. I would start with Testosterone in all of it's forms. Yes you will learn from real world experience, but I wouldn't hop in the cockpit of plane, and try to learn as I go. I wouldn't even make it off the ground.

Aside from reading I would say adding one new compound at a time is very important.

Theres a handful of fighter pilots here that possess the flight manual.(metaphorically ofcourse) Read and then read some more absolutely! One compound at a time is so important, be able to single out what effects are happening from what.

bolt781's picture

Hell yea all of you guys are touching on great points! Re establishing what's what in my own head. "seperatin the pretenders from the runners" hopefully a pretender comes across posts like these and becomes a runner!

vhman's picture

Dedication and Self-Discipline are at the top of my list. I think they encompass many of the items mentioned below. I like the quote by W.K. Hope "Self-discipline is when your conscience tells you to do something and you don't talk back." Basically we need to be dedicated to lifting, diet, aas, etc. and we can't make exceptions, no matter what comes up or how we feel at the moment. Do you have the self-discipline to do that? That is what really separates the pretenders from the runners.

fusebox's picture

If you think you're ready for gear you're not. You better know that you are ready and have done all the research before you stick that needle on your arse

bolt781's picture

Yes sir. I've said treat it like holding your breath under water. Wait till you absolutely have to come up for air! Thank you brother
