Knowing I'm going to die regardless makes this lifestyle choice an easy one.
And being just another guy is fucking useless in this world.
Get fucking huge and don't think twice.

Live today like tomorrow won't be there.
I made some bad decisions in my twenties, and lost about a decade in time caged up like an animal in a "pen"(if you all can understand what I mean!!).
My best friend's memory who was KIA right next to me. We did triathlons, muay thai, and weight lifted together. So I make everyday count as if it were two hearts motivating me rather than one.
i have a photo of myself at my fattest in 2008 that i keep around. reminds me everyday how far i've come. during my last cycle, i weighed the exact same amount as i did when i was fat, but boy what a difference 10.9% bodyfat and 25+% body is.

My motivation come from deep within! Got tired of being that skinny little punk ass kid! Yep I was one of those with a heart like a tiger but had the strength of 12 year old girl! Plus let's face a man needs to be able to perfect his family and I frankly was to weak.
Keep it coming guys, your all great motivation.
Motivation is that little voice inside your head that SCREAMS ..I am a Beast, I want to train like a Freak, I am the Best, These Veins could be more pumped. Being modest but eat the attention and compliments like they are candy. The quiet before the storm....Thats motivation... should I run, should I stay....Bwahaahaa.
Cool song...

About a year I looked at myself in the mirror and was disgusted. At the age of 17/18 I was fit, healthy playing football & rugby while having plenty of girls interested in me. What I had become was being over 300lbs, unhappy, unhealthy headed towards a heart attack if I had eaten and continued to sit on my ass playing video games for many more years. Something had to change to I started walking every day and watching what I ate, I then registered at the local gym without really having a clue how to lift. I started reading, started buying supplements and continued to lose weight.
Since then I am down from around 310lbs to 240 lbs, I have put on a substantial amount of LBM because I never even lifted to get to above 300lbs. I guess its also been a recomp because at times the scales stopped but my bodyfat was reducing and muscle increasing.
At the moment I feel as though I have gained all the LBM I will on a cut now, the noob gains have stopped and i'll probably lose a slight amount before I hit my desired bodyfat. I want to be under 15% bodyfat for Xmas so that'll mean losing probably about 35lbs or so minimum, I believe I can do that. I am guilty at times of treating things as a sprint rather than a marathon and I feel like I want to get there TODAY but I know its a slow process.
This forum has been great in keeping me level headed and being smacked down into place thinking about cycling at post 20% bodyfat, discipline and consistency are key to where I want to be and at times I need reminding of that.
The people on this forum are also a motivation to me because I just don't see the arrogant fools I see on plenty of other lifting forums. Everyone can share their stories and ask for advice without it being sugar coated, but it being factual, thoughtful and experienced.

Aside from musical inspiration, a short answer would be taking advantage of being blessed with a healthy functional body. I capitalize on all of the gifts that have been given to me. Most of the time I am not the best and I have to accept that and use that as motivation to work that much harder. That went for school, it goes for work, it goes toward being a father and a husband, and it goes towards a healthy lifestyle and training hard. I have to live with who I am in each moment and I see life simply as a journey to achieve and maintain happiness. Capitalizing on my natural abilities and resources available to me is one component in my life that makes me genuinely happy.
I guess my modavation comes from fear, fear that I can't get to my goals or fear that I will have a reaccurring past of being that skinny puny looking guy that I was before, your subconscious can be your worse enemy playing snerio's over and over in your head that you won't ever be the person you've always dreamed of being. Idid have a glimps of what laziness can do to you or maybe in better words not giving the effort 100%, I've learned a new way to this and found out why I my gains stopped, not because I reached the top of the mountain I was climbing but because I thought I had when I reached my 1st opstacle. My eroids brothers and sisters I know yall have my back ain't not nothing getting in the Popeboyz way from here on out!
That's my nooka! We been homies a long time you know I got ur back brah!
Yes zir we done seen alot of peeps come and go round hurr, when it come down to it ya gotta look around and see whose left standing and be thankful ya got the people you gots on your team

Got into hard drugs at an early age and ruined my life.No one wanted me around and i couldnt stay clean.I was in and out of jail and rehabs.I was out of control.I got clean 8 yrs ago and started rebuild my body, mind and spirit. The gym and weight training has helped me to stay focused. My life is so much different today.when i Got clean i was a 150 lbs 28 yrs old and im 215 35 yrs old now.I worked out for 7 yrs before i thought about aas and then researched my ass off day and night so i didnt make a bad decision. My motivation is me!
For my good friend Fast, strength and resiliency is a state of mind. True power is refusing to break. Here's words of inspiration I read every single morning since the day I first read them.
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
William Ernest Henley
