whats everybody like for posing music? im looking for something with a good beat, some pauses in it to lock out strong poses, and something that builds to a strong finish

i think you can work with the background beat on that for some good poses, you gonna mix it with anything?
Definitely get something with a decent beat to nail poses too. I've seen the slow songs overdone, puts the crowd to sleep. Sure posing to Seal, Kiss from a Rose may seem artistic and sensual, but people lose interest quick. Last time I competed I did an old school mix and spliced 3 songs to 90 seconds. Did Bel Biv Devoe-poison; Beastie Boys-Body Moving; Busta Rhymes- Gimme Some More. The first 2 songs had a moderate beat, but Gimme Some More was a bitch to nail poses to, but it was well received. Just pick something that you really feel, the more you're into the music, the better the routine will be.
