+ 1 pins bought at pharmacy

ad

I had my first run in with having to purchase pins at a pharmacy. A while back my gpz stash ran out and ihad to buy some 1" 21 g pins from the pharmacy. They would only allow me to buy ten and required a drivers license. When asked what they were for I told them it was for my dog. I really wanted to tell them I was going to inject some steroids in my ass, but I refrained. 21 g was a bit larger than the 23 g I'm used too.

It looks like this is common amongst us, it was a walgreens where I went and I wasn't nervous in any way. Just seemed like they were acting like I was the first person to ask for pins. It would be nice if I could get pct without a script. I thi.k by looking at me they know what the pins are for.

i'll get to that size eventually. maybe i just need to walk in there in a sleeveless tank after having done 200 pushups in the parking lot. get pumped and out of breath, "i NEEED some intramuscular needles, like, NOW!"

manlytt's picture

Yea it seems like it takes forever for the size to really become noticable and when it does you still don't see it like others do. I doubt I'll ever be the biggest guy in the gym, but for my genetics things are really starting to take shape.

Tell em its for B12 injections and ask for 23ga

DiabloStrong's picture

how do you respond if they ask for an empty vial or the actual medication as proof?

jimboe85's picture

I don't think that would happen. Unless the laws are different in ur state. You don't have to tell them anything. You can say ur using them for steroids and they still gotta give em to you. Its the law (in my state). The reason is that they don't want dirty needles being reused. So if the nosey pharmacy tech gives you shit just tell them to please do their job and sell me the 10 intramuscular syringes....which def aren't used for heroin or iv drugs. Don't worry just be cool and don't act sketchy. Its perfectly legal

Exactly,It feels good goin to buy pins at a pharmecy with your guns popin out the sleeves and shoulders swole like cannon balls..lol Instead of askin for slin pins and lookin cracked out and skinny and sickly lookin.
the tech will not give a dirty look, cause you look healthier and more fit and jacked then them and the pharmasist

manlytt's picture

Then u wink at the cutie behind the counter and call her toots.

i hear you, and in most places i'm sure that's exactly what would happen. I have purchased needles at pharmacies in 3 different states, including the one i'm currently living in. I tend to agree with the earlier comment that smaller pharmacies would give you less hassle than bigger chain pharmacies, but my experience has been buying at both types with no problems. I asked the original poster in this thread that question, because I was asked it by the pharmacy tech the other day! I needed insulin pins because the melanotan2 that i had ordered arrived before the slins. I thought it would be no big deal buying a bag of 10 31g 5/8" 1/2CC pins. I didn't feel like arguing with the guy through the drive through window, so i just drove on and waited another day for my internet order of slins to arrive. Maybe the key is to go the desk, but I bet in most places, if you looked clean (i.e. not an IV drug user) you'd have a harder time buying pins because the pharmacy techs would be curious and make you prove you need it for something legitimate. Maybe they'd think they were preventing someone from becoming a junkie by putting up roadblocks on the path to acquiring needles. If someone looked like a junkie, they might think fuck it sell the needles and get this asshole out of the store. Granted, this was just my experience with buying insulin pins locally, which are most definitely used for IV drug use as well as subcutaneous injections.

I have been turned down before, for tryin to get slins at cvs drive thru..

Where i live its legal but frowned on. I live in a nice suburb of a big city where police are very aggressive in keeping their area "clean". I dont see the point in paying more and dealing with the hassle when i can save money & time & have them at my door no questions asked

gRxnch's picture

Hm good question haha. I would say that I didn't think I needed to bring it with me because you're allowed to buy syringes over the counter (depending on which state you're in). Or I would say I forgot it at home and I'm in a rush. If they won't sell to ya or give you a hard time don't argue, just find another pharmacy. Most pharmacies will sell to you if you don't look like a junkie. I'd go to a smaller/non-chain pharmacy because in my experience I've had better results getting from the privately owned pharma's compared to the chain ones. I mean most states have the "Clean Needle Act", allowing you to buy insulin pins over the counter with an ID. EDIT: If they ask for an EMPTY vial for proof just say you throw them out when you're done with them.

Way easier to buy online. It IS legal and the supply houses dont care. And iId rather buy 100 at a time and know ive got stock then run all over town to find a pharmacy that doesnt treat me like a heroin addict. And i DO have a prescription, not that it should matter, but its still easier and cheaper online.

DiabloStrong's picture

that's exactly my reason for buying online. you can even buy 1000 at a time and know you've got the equipment for years of cycles.

Sens55's picture

Exactly. Ive got a nice box in the closet.

subs33's picture

Say, you use them to inject air into an earthworm and use it as bait. The air will make the earthworm float on top of the water and wiggle..Great for bass fishing ;)

Out here it depends on the pharmecy, however thier are several places and they dont ask..They even have them ready to sell individual in a tupperware container. Just tell them how many. It also helps to bring in the empty package of a pin and show the clerk, just in case ya get a clerk that doesnt know what your talkin about. It could just be the state I live in. IDK..another pharmecy were I get my pills filled at, I saw a guy walk in and buy a box.So, sometimes I get them thier but he charges too much..

jprizzle's picture

My pharmacy where i usually get my watson script gives them to me all the time for 10 cents each. I only get them there sometimes though. I dont like the ones they have very much

Cam2012's picture

21g? Fuck that I have to use 25 because I'm a bitch lol

manlytt's picture

Yea 21 g. Just don't go through the scar tissue in the delts very well.

Cam2012's picture

I had to pin with an 18 once. Second worst day of my life. Taking too much Clen at once was the worst day of my life lol

DiabloStrong's picture

CVS is cool depending on the location. walgreens can be a bitch about it, i tried the drive through technique and the guy wanted either an empty insulin vial, insulin script, or "diabetes card" before he'd sell me a box of slins. now i just buy on the internet, no big deal, usually very cheap, and i don't have to feel shady about purchasing needles.

manlytt's picture

Yea I usually get mine online, just was in a pinch. I use gpz prolly like 90% of the rest of the members.

Sens55's picture

I got mine online from a medical supply shop. I got syringes and 20g and 23g pins that were the exact kind I was getting "prescribed" as part of my TRT. And I was able to get a big box of each for less than the regular pharmacy was charging me for a few months worth. I think I got 200 syringes, 100 pins in each size and some alcohol wipes for about $50 and free shipping.

Go to tractor supply

ttime86's picture

Well I don't know if it is where I live but, they give them to me no question ask.

manlytt's picture

Shoulda asked for some watson to go with it lol

P's picture

Say it's for a vitamin B-12 injection.
Or specify that you want 23g

manlytt's picture

Yea I asked for 23 g they didn't have them. B12 I fogot about that one good call. Pretty sure they knew what I wanted them for by looking at me haha. As I'm sure most of the guys here have a hard time hiding the fact that their saucing.

roidrage79's picture

Just try a different pharmacy. Some ask questions, some don't. I get all my pins from the pharmacy.
