-1 Kuwait Muscle-Building Phenomenon

What's the deal with Oxygen Gym in Kuwait... Apparently, bodybuilders who have trained for years and maxed out on genetic potential & AAS potential have been going out there for 2mos. - 3mos. and coming back with 15lb.-30lbs of additional muscle mass...
Ideas? Thoughts? Knowledge on the matter? Interested to hear your take on this...

Here is a video of a yoked Brandon Curry speaking about his time in Kuwait.
Looking at his contest history, whatever is going on over there, is working big time

That's quite a jump in callouts and placing !

Hope you enjoy!
Great interview.
I think his language gives him away somewhat. He talks about 'the process' and 'the product' but it strikes me that he was doing so with surprise/curiosity rather than someone who had done it before many many times!
The only thing they might have that most can't get there hands on is legit igf aka increlex. They do get pharm grade anabolic and hgh but, so can some of us. Not every bodybuilder that goes there gains 15-30lbs. let's keep this in mind boys.
I believe that the scientific approach could be something like the Russian doping program. If there that into the sport over there it would be just like over here with nfl teams spending millions on research and studies to make there players one step ahead of the others. They also probably have an out look that there doctors can create new compounds that could be stronger and safer than anything we see out. You know that they probably have those hidden anabolics or androgens that are formula 865848tt75 lol and no one really knows what it is but the chemist that created it and something like that could definitely be it.
I've thought about this quite a bit myself, of course the 24/7 live in assistance is a huge help. The cost of maintaining a bodybuilding lifestyle at the peak these guys are at is immense and to have 24/7 massage, chiro, PT and whatever else has to be a huge help. I know most pros can't afford all of that all the time. Add to that this gym has THE top of the line equipment. Watching videos their "back isolation" machine section is as big as most gyms entire weight section. Lastly you can't make all these ingredients come together without the will and the drive to achieve. With zero distractions, no family, no bills, no responsibilities they can recreate a spartan lifestyle, stark and devoted to one goal. If Ronnie Coleman had access to something like that he would've been even bigger and better. I think that alone shows what an incredible thing they are doing for the sport.
From my perspective there are a several factors at play.
First, is the readily available , inexpensive , direct from the pharmacy everything!
What ever you can imagine, direct from the pharmacy, no problem.
Second, is the money that flows through that region of the world facilitating the bodybuilding lifestyle.
Bodybuilding is numero uno in the Middle East. The sport is absolutely huge in the Middle East and Bodybuilders are treated like rock stars.
Third is, world class facilities combined with hardcore old fashioned training. Bodybuilders who travel there are reimmersed in to the hardcore lifestyle. While over there, its all business. Bodybuilding 24/7 in everyway. No distractions, just training , eating, sleeping, and repeat.
Fourth, from the interviews Ive heard. They all get personal attention everyday while training. Meaning the old routines are out the window while a new trainer with new techniques forces their body in a different way. I would say similar fashion as how a guy like Dexter Jackson can hook up with Charles Glass and breath new life in to a world class physique.
My opinion is based on what Ive read and likewise videos I've seen. I recently came across a great RX muscle video with Victor Martinez. He gives a great hour interview but at 24.45 the discussion turns to Oxygen Gym. You may like it. The link is below.

Doctor....In response:
[1] You're suggesting that these Professional BB's have not had access to legit AAS... I say False.
[2] What does that have to do with a BB putting on additional 15lbs. - 30lbs. AFTER they've possibly achieved their genetic AAS potential?
[3] This is like saying that the Denver Broncos have a better facility than the Dallas Cowboys... so the Broncos would be the better team.... WHAT? they are PROFESSIONAL... it has minimal correlation. Then, "no distractions, just training, eating, sleeping and repeat"... suggests that these Pro's don't have the discipline... i'm not buying it
[4] Only somewhat decent response... perhaps their is something more scientific in their approach
Solid Video +1
In response to you Caesar:
1) You are making an assumption. I suggested nothing of the sort. I merely stated that the availability of inexpensive pharma grade products of all kinds is more inexpensive and easily assessable.
2) You are hung up on this idea of AAS potential. You are assuming that a top bodybuilder can not simply improve. I say false. What make you believe that they are not experimenting with different compounds and protocols? In addition, drugs and protocols are only a piece of the puzzle. Albeit a large piece, it was everything else I mentioned in combination
3) I'm glad you enjoyed the video. In the video you would hear what is different from Victor. Distractions! You analogy of Football teams does not apply. This is a totally different game.
I believe I mentioned this prior. You sir, are assuming that every top bodybuilder has 100% focus and dedication 100% of the time. That they have the end all be of trainers, drugs, facilities, supplement's, and distractionless FOCUS it takes to be a champion. That simply is not the case for the majority of competitor's.
I pose this question. How many IFBB pros work a "regular" job in addition to their IFBB pro status?
Do you think that this may detract from their full potential?
If you could, I would also be glad to hear your theory of "more scientific in their approach "?
Again, I was merely stating my opinion based on my knowledge of the situation.
I appreciate your response and the dialog. Forums like this is what its all about.
For your leisure, King Kamali with a short rant on the subject
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5Nz-qsRvn8
The percentage of IFBB pros with day jobs is probably very high... +80% to +90%... really just the top 10-15 possibly make enough on competition winnings & sponsorships...
You are correct... not every bodybuilder has 100% focus & dedication 100% of the time... that's my error...
My suggestion of "more scientific approach"... by mid 1980s GH was introduced to the BB scene... by mid-1990s slin was added... these compounds changed the landscape of BB. Perhaps there are new compounds that we have not heard of yet... Or, O2 Gym has just perfected the science of nutrition + recovery + training.
Appreciate your contribution to the discussion.
Cheers!
Oh yes, certainly.
Just seeing the transition of champions from Haney to Yates to Ronnie exemplifies these extreme changes in chemical warfare of professional bodybuilding. It will be interesting to see what if any new compounds and protocol will be introduced within the next few years while the average weight of Olympia competitors keeps getting bigger and more massive.
Cheers
I don't think they have more access to AAS but adding serious mass that late in a career does generally require that extremely anabolic naturally occurring hormone we don't discuss here... I suspect that is being used extensively. Hopefully as safely as possible.
Yes, exactly, a perfect storm.
Also to clarify what I meant about the AAS part of the equation. While AAS are available in the United Stated certainly. I would like to pose a few questions.
How many AAS can be legally purchased over the counter?
What compounds can be legally prescribed?
What are the prices of legitimate pharma grade products both legal and on the black market?
Kuwait, is much more forward thinking when it comes to this subject. The availability of walking in to any pharmacy and purchasing inexpensive pharma grade products of all kinds is unrivaled by the United States. Which is where most top pros reside. And speaking of inexpensive, when a Sheik is fitting the bill for your pharma grade products , its not a bad deal.
Likewise, who can disagree with you on your assessment of potential usage of extremely anabolic naturally occurring hormones we will not discuss. I am sure that is part of the equation. And yes, hopefully as safely as possible.
Agreed... I'm sure that is one part of the equation
It's like a "perfect storm" if you will of bodybuilding potential.

Nah they are up to something
Those lads have transformed
That's what I'm saying...
Giving the generic "... training harder, eating better, no distractions, whatever AAS they need... etc."... I'm not buying it... that answer is suggesting that these guys are not disciplined enough, they don't eat right, and they're not capable of getting premium gear...
These dudes are in their 30s-40s... been on gear for years... been pro's for years...
I didn't really think about it until now but I agree. We all eat sleep breathe gym diet whatever we're doing some more of an extant than others but these are the guys on the world stage. They have been eating sleeping breathing bodybuilding for years. Yes it is an environment conducive to vrowth but there HAS to be something. Im sure they have the gurus out there who know hoe to manipulate food and certain taboo sujects to get their full potential but is that it? It makes me wonder if the guys going there to train have to sign a non.disclosure agreement before becoming one of the "camel crew"?
Yeah lads, I think ye are both right.
on too of the stuff they have been doing fir years, I reckon they have nailed a couple of things like usage of taboo things for nutrient shuttling, fat melting
I think they are using these things in a way that's been fine tuned
I also reckon there is a surgical and medical element too. I remember seeing Nathan De Asha wearing a corset a lot so and then Rolly W''s gut shrank significantly so I think they have worked on the gut/bacterial side of things which causes distended gut (imo)
I think the thing to cosier is Bader will extend his wealth not just to hormones training food and accommodation but also to medical/surgical/experimental techniques
When you've all the money.... why wouldn't you!
Also one big factor they might just have cracked is myostatin
Could be right on the myostatin. My knowledge of that is extremely basic but with the right amount of momey anything is possible.
That's the truth... Money cured Magic Johnson's AIDS.
Likewise, I agree completely Jay
Bader keeps them in line. Hard training, hard cycles, hard diet and no bullshit distractions.
noxchivu09they all live in the gym thats it
trenandmentno distractions like woman and partying ,litrally eat sleep. train .3 times a day repeat ,best gear, best food , best supplments and good coaches and apparently a shiek who loves bodybuilding that pays for everything
How's that different than what they were doing?
trenandmentkuwait city .,bit of a diffrence if you ask me ,for one its a muslim country ,no alchol, no whores ,its like all inclusive hol .your needs are met everything !no distractions some thing up and coming bodybuilders have to do to make a living ,there you dont ,plenty vids on you tube ,
You're suggesting that these Pro Bodybuilders are whoring alcoholics... they're partying & have no discipline...
These dudes are in their 30s-40s... and to achieve a physique that they're at they weren't doing that shit before they went to Kuwait.
C'mon man!
trenandmentno what i me doing is giving you my opinion ,so if you want argument i will fuck of somewhere else ,edited
