Kinda weird????

ad

So I got my buddy some Sus. He has never done AAS before but, he said he was ready to give it a whirl. I gave him his 1st shot last night in the delt and this mourning he sent me a pic showing me a pic of a vein dark in color traveling from injection site to middle of chest! Can someone please tell me what this could be? And what to do to treat?

Genetix's picture

Your buddy is experiencing Thrombosis. Due to the injection and partial to whole area of obstruction his vein is showing common sign of Thrombosis. This is very common when injections are done into a vein that has some collapse or blockage from clotting. This is sometime shrugged off at the ER but keep in mind clots can travel over time. Usually doc admin cumidin or other blood thinners but let them know what your running! The line is the damaged vein sort of like interior vascular bruising.

I would get my ass to the ER. Even if it was nothing I would think it would be better to get to ER. The ER bill will be cheaper than a funeral. It might be something the doctor laughs at and says its nothing but I would let a doctor make that call.

My wife is a MD and I don't want to be an alarmist, but she said it could be a sign of endocarditis. Signs can be if dirt or bacteria get into the veins that eventually travel to the heart. She said that this is a life threatening condition. Not saying this is that just trying to be helpful. But he should not chance it get to a doctor.

Man bro thanks for the input! I been on his ass all day since he sent me a pic of the vein! I sure hope he takes my advice and goes and gets it checked out!

Darktide's picture

No problem, I hope he does as well. After listening to the possibilities it is nothing to play around with.

I know I been on the shitter all day! Lol

Somebody give this man a +1, if I could I would. To those of you who just said wait, ALL karma should be taken away. Somebodies life is not something to just take a guess at and say wait and see what happens. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. My 2 cents.

Liquid Steel's picture

Wow bro easy I have been in contact w him thru out the day at the point where he's gettin pist at me! I have told him to go to ER. How do u think I feel knowin he could be seriously ill and helped admin. His 1st shot! I feel bad as fuc been sic all day thinking about it

Sorry to be so strong about my thoughts in this area, my name is also my profession and I cant tell you how many families I have delt with that would not have lost a loved one had they taken action faster. I am not making this statement in reguards to aas just any situation that could turn into something life threatening. To hear somebody just guess as to what it could be and say "try this and wait and see" or to just issue a guess when someones life could be at stake pisses me off.

Darktide's picture

Well said!

Liquid Steel's picture

Bro! I completely understand! U r very respected in my book! Thanks for the input!

Undertaker's picture

You were not one of the people I was talking about. I did not see anywhere where you said just wait. Im sure you are very concerned about your friend.

That's awesome bro high fives for sure! I love the medical field

fast48's picture

Easier as emt. The guy in back poking likes while bouncing.....naaa. Thats crazy adrenaline. Got certs like 4yrs ago to work as er tech. Had fun for clinicals! Er is wild! The job though was $5/hr less than where i was so still working thru college. Almost an old senior...senior. Haaaa!

Liquid Steel's picture

Lmao bro I had to do some hours in the ER for school now the ER is crazy I dunno if gear and ER stress would be good! Lol I did like the nurses! Lol when I drive the box I always try to avoid potholes while medics are trying to get there stick in!

Liquid Steel's picture

U to bro! Like we stated b4 high fives bro! +1 to the medic

ac89's picture

Tell him to get to the doc or er immediatly. Having big muscle isn't worth fucking yourself up over. Don't leave stuff like this to chane =, yeah it might go away, but as un-common as this is don't take a chance.

levelup's picture

i think it would be best for a doc to assess your boys situation, no need to chance it

Go to ER asap!

ac89's picture

If it were me thats what I'd be doing.

power_house's picture

What u think it is?

fast48's picture

Unsure. But common mefic training is take em straight to er when you get on scene and see radiation like that. Front delt has large veins running cross chest. Maybe simple blockage. I wouldn't mess with it.

Detroitnate's picture

tell your friend to get some antibiotics if it don't go away in a few days it could be infected and he will have to see a doctor

Thanks bro! I been telling him that all afternoon

power_house's picture

So I know this isn't the same but kinda, my dude pinned his quad, seen veins as soon as the injection started, they stayed for a little bit but then went away.. Are ur buddy's still showing up bad?

Liquid Steel's picture

It is jus one showing! Hes afraid it may be a blood clot!

power_house's picture

Did I pull back and see if any blood was in the tube?

Liquid Steel's picture

No blood b4 or after injection!!

power_house's picture

Yea see if a blood thinner would work? Maybe a possibly

fast48's picture

Thinning for clots....the clot will travel somewhere. Mom has strokes all the time while doc thins her clots from varied surgeries

power_house's picture

O I thought a clot was blood cells stopped up, by thinning them won't it allow for them to flow freely again?

fast48's picture

It is....but remember what a strokw is as well. Clots that get stuck in the brain. If they "melt apart" then no isdie.. But if it dislodges it travels the system til it lands somewhere.

Liquid Steel's picture

Ok bro thanks!

power_house's picture

Ya man best of luck to ur friend, I know shit can make u super freaked sometime .. But coach him thur it bro and hell be just fine
