I'm clueless, maybe EROIDS will know?

ad

Recently I've been getting these annoying headaches after cardio sessions (for the last 2 days). I do about 1.5 hrs LISS early in the AM ED, once I'm done the headache starts and lasts til the next day. It's not a splitting headache but more of a mild migraine that just drones on and on.

Since I'm on cycle my first thought is, high blood pressure! So had it tested and it was a normal 130/80.

I'm thinking it's because I've upped cardio quite a bit from what I was doing last week. Maybe this is some kind of adjustment phase.

Anyone have any ideas? If it matters I'm on a keto diet.

Just an update. Seems like electrolytes was the problem. After a can or two of Monster Rehab the headache was considerably less but those hydration sachets is what really took the headache away. All in all the pain lasted for 3.5 days, glad that's the end of it. Greatly appreciate all the help!

Those were some terrific responses guys, my doctor didn't even mention electrolytes.

Steps I'm going to take
1-Down some sports drinks for electrolytes.
Do you get any sugar free ones?
2-Look into possible muscle tension as a cause of headache.
3-Get a RBC/hemocrit blood panel.

How long have you been on cycle? Any doseage change recently? What are you running ?

I second and third the dehydration.. if your doing that much cardio I recommend at least a gallon within the 3 hours you are working..

are you on cycle? taking supps?

thefusion's picture

Yeah, but didn't have the headache most of the cycle just recently. Only variable that changed was more cardio. Supps, diet, etc has been constant

if your taking any substance, that inreases rbc like eq or anadrol, problem could be thick blood, bloodflow not circulating as quick as it was too the brain, if your consuming caffeine particularly a pre workout, this has same affect, when the caffeine buzz crashes, you get a massive increase in bloodflow to the brain causing even further migranes that can last a few days, if your doing both, disaster, dehydration is where id be starting though.

This is what I was thinking as well. High RBC/hemoglobin and hemocrit always gave me headaches (not necessarily after cardio though). Regularly donating blood has eliminated this problem for me, something everyone on AAS should do in my opinion.

was thinking along these lines as well flash, however wouldn't an increase in red blood cells and or excessive caffeine consumption raise his bp as well bro?

yes brothr generally, but its after cardio, lack of oxygen in the blood plus cardio, i wonder if hes checking multiple times daily or just the one time, its all speculation atm he may not even be on any of it, most head aches are due too blood, but tension and even nerves could be at play here.

The BP figure I gave is from my doctor. Though I did check my BP a few times during the day with my wrist BP monitor, gave roughly the same readings throughout.

I can't answer for you bro but for me I live up north and the high tree pollen this time of year is killing me with sinus headaches. I never used to have allergies. I guess you can develop them as you get older. It's been going on for about 3 years now and it wasn't until late last year that I figured out what was causing it. Don't know if this helps but it's another angle to look at it.
