Heavy cough after shot...

So I just aspirated and pinned my scheduled shot of test cyp and a few seconds later I started coughing violently for about 5 minutes. I'm guessing I somehow nicked a vein.
I feel 100% now so is there anything to worry about, I'm not gonna drop dead am I?

You just nicked a vessel and some of the oils got in there. You'll be alright. I've had it happen so badly that it put me on my ass in a cold sweat. Sucks Til it passes but it happens.
Yup, that's what happens.. Best thing to avoid this is to aspirate first.. :-)
I always aspirate. My theory is that we sometimes pass thru a vessel on the way in, and stop far enough past it that it doesn't register on aspiration. Then, as the Bolus of the oils builds and disperses, it finds its way towards the nicked vessel.
I get the "cough" although not as violent as some lol. I inject twice a week and it happens the 1st of the week due to pinning 2ml at once then about 5 minutes later the cough starts to rumble. I am a smoker too (yeah no speeches please) so I thought it was hacking up a lung but it was indeed the test cough.
Tren does this to me, Had it happen twice when I was on my cycle. Scared the shit out of me at first, as was a proper hacking cough that had me gasping for breath, so, researched it, and it's "common", second time, I didn't panic, and it passed quicker. :-)
waltrI have this problem when I try and pin my right delt because I can't really reach it and the needle ends up sliding in and out to different depths. It's nothing to really worry about, although it does suck.
You can get the cough even if u don't nick a vein. The info sheet in Test C pharma products says this is a possibility.
I've found injecting slowly prevents the cough. It's also less likely with future injections since your body is "used to it".
That's a damn good point, today I injected much faster than I normally do!
