HOW REALLY IMPORTANT IS SLEEP
ad
I have been having a hard time sleeping lately. My sleep cycle is probably messed up due to the fact that I work night shift.
I always hear these 3 sayings train hard eat clean sleep like a baby. I see lots of postings about training and nutrition but barely enough on sleep.
HOW DOES LACK OF SUFFICIENT SLEEP REALLY AFFECT ABILITY TO BUILD MUSCLE.
DETAILS PLEASE

Who neg me?
Well as someone who can't sleep I will say it's pretty damn important. I'm really starting to feel crappy
AnonSleep is as important as diet and training and compound doseage... they all sort of fit together like a puzzle lol
No.really you grow in your sleep and then after a good night's rest your test levels are high so thats a good time to work out
Cutler says he sleeps about 5 hours a night...and gets up at 3 am to drink a shake...lol
Arnold says you sleep 6 hours a night. I sleep 7.
Sleep/Rest is a must for me. If I don't get enough sleep I won't have the necessary energy to blast through a workout. Also sleep works wonders for me when I have PIP, I can basically sleep it off.
spike03zDespite not having enough sleep I still have decent amount of energy to train. I just get so sore on chest days takes over a week to recover. Really looking at all aspects I can maximize my gains and recovery time
People who are partially sleep deprived can't even tell how it is affecting their reasoning and motor skills.
Your body releases HGH when you sleep and is more effective in repairing and healing itself. Sleep will improve your immune system and lower your blood pressure as well -important when on cycle.
spike03zThanks it's all making sense
Extremely, 60-70% of GH is released during sleep. You need REM sleep is what helps repair tissue.
spike03zSo not getting enough sleep definitely affects muscle recovery and soreness
Without a doubt. Give this a read (http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/drobson5.htm)
